Russia favors boosting observers in Syria: You have to wonder why knowing they are only cover for Bashar Al-Assad to murder Syrian's

Russia favors boosting observers in Syria: In October, Russia and China issued a rare double veto of a resolution that lacked sanctions but would have condemned the violence in Syria. This latest draft also lacks sanctions, but is tougher than the earlier version, which said nothing about transfer of power.

France stepped up the pressure on Russia on Saturday, with French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe sending a message to his Russian counterpart urging cooperation on Syria. Meanwhile, the Syrian National Council, the major opposition group in Syria, has called on expatriates to show their solidarity by sitting in front of Russian embassies and consulates starting at 2 p.m. Eastern on Sunday.
You have to believe Russia is up to no good.

We know Iran's Revolutionary guard has been helping Syria and as proof the free Syrian Army has captured 5 soldiers and 2 civilians already in the fighting. Dahida Abdul-Rahman a 50-year-old housewife at prayers, said the Arab observers should be thrown out of the country. "Since they came, terrorist attacks started," she said. She is dead right and it is being done by the Government to gain sympathy for their murder of civilians and their deserter protectors.

I said when soldiers first defected that it would take the whole army as they are fighting the IRG too even though for now it is denied. The Government is blaming this attacks on terrorist or more likely protesters. We have heard for a while now that Arab observers are pulling out and staying. I have to believe Russia up to no good knowing Syria is using the observers to kill as many people as possible.

In fact knowing what Russia is suggesting a few weeks ago we suggested, swell the numbers of Observers and the next time they are dragged into this by being fired on let them take up arms, claim self defense, and they are in against Syrian forces. The war and the breakdown will be out in the open.

Syria, Iran and Bashar Al-Assad appear to be the masters. From the beginning of the chaos in Syria we have been saying that Iran more specifically the IRG (Iran Revolutionary Guard) was in Syria helping if not leading the way in trying to quell the uprising. You know Bashar's only friend Iran is dictating that this slaughter is a necessity though Syria knows how to brutalize its people all to well. Iran will not allow a Democracy at her door step further isolating her.

That in itself defies logic because Iran is Shiite and Bashar and the ruling minority is Sunni like Al Qaeda and Saudi Arabia who we said would come to the aid of the citizens who are largely Shiite. It is all very confusing. Al Qaeda would not destroy Sunni security offices killing Sunni forces or would they?

However Bashar has already proven capable of killing his own to blame it on protesters and further his cause. He is also flat out lying saying protesters have killed 2000 of his security forces, a number pulled out of the air in order to kill and quell those against him. This Bashar created civil war is barely starting unless he leaves and he will not. As long as Russia keeps the 60 ton deliveries of arms and ammunition coming Syria will be all right. Iran will never allow Syria to fall to Democracy.

Seniors in Florida disappointed that candidates say little about Social Security and Entitlements: Because they plan on taking them!

Seniors in Florida disappointed that candidates say little about Social ...: At the Senior Friendship Center, a bustling hub tucked amid palm fronds and azaleas where elders gather to socialize, exercise, and seek medical care, political banter is interwoven with gentle ribbing and flagrant flirting.

When talk turned to Medicare and Social Security in the days leading up to tomorrow’s Florida Republican primary, this critical voting bloc voiced disappointment that the issues disproportionately affecting seniors have been notably absent from debates and candidates’ stump speeches here. Most older voters say they don’t know what distinguishes the GOP contenders from each other when it comes to the future of the two programs. “I think the candidates want to stay away from it, keep it quiet until after the primaries,’’
Damn straight, they are hoping seniors do not realize Republicans plan on cutting them to save their future. They better wake up!

Republicans are the biggest threat to our version of America which is right for the masses thus America's biggest enemies!

If truth honesty and doing the right thing for the masses was the goal one party or a two party system would be fine but doing the right thing is not even a thought only doing the right thing for the party. Knowing that, a 3 party system would also be worthless. We use to be a Government of the people by the people for the people enabled by the Constitution. We have become a Government of the Politicians for e affluent by main stream media and facilitated by our legal system We the people are no longer in the equation but a nuisance to be placated.

Republicans and the 2 party system are America's biggest enemies! Republicans and Democrats have both turned out to be the enemy of we the people. Republicans call Democrats the enemy and and Democrats call Republicans the enemy while they are both the enemy of we the people and President Obama. They only care about doing the right thing for their party and as I keep saying from day one, President Obama and average Americans are on their own.

When I remember Romney stumping for McCain for President and he said democrats are America's biggest enemy it gave me chills. Our trying to take care of the sick and elderly and everyone who needs help is why we have all these problems. Bush was always reducing what they call unfunded liabilities "social security, Medicaid, and Medicare, amongst other things.

We are absolutely screwed if Republicans succeed in getting the power to repeal Health care, privatize Social Security, continue and enhance welfare for the wealthy, and taking Obama to court for crimes against America. That should have been Bush's reward for destroying America and then flying away proud of his accomplishments. Not a good future we have before us and remember the state of the Political and environmental world of today!

Think of the frightening prospect of of putting this mess in the hands of the know nothing Republican party hijackers, the tea party voodoo fools. That is frightening! That possibility is what we are now facing. Only keeping health care and staying on the track of the recovery of "our" America Obama is trying to get us on, will give us a future, success into the 21st century.

We need those companies that were increasingly incentified by Bush to send their companies and jobs overseas to be forced to come back to the US. Obama's plan is doable and not as destructive to companies as those against the plan want you to think. We have to start putting the people ahead of companies

We are in serious trouble as you know, if we can not get our manufacturing base back and put the people back to work and enable them to pay their mortgages and pay the bills. I refuse to believe Republicans and other turncoats can get away with voting against the people and a return to Bush's destruction of "our America and world order" Obama has finally started to gather forces again to finally get something done. We better show the tea party Republicans we are not going to let them undo any progress and finish destroying our America. We must come out and keep his agenda moving forward. Get out the vote!

For a while there the Republicans looked lost forever. They took a back seat and let the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck lie and whip up those in America angry at losing their version of America. Glen Beck and Sarah Palin were the leaders in the dumbing down of America. The tea party seems to have silent control of the Republican party now and since the election have allowed the leaders of the party to come back to the forefront or the leaders are done using them for now and have stepped forward again.

John Boehner, Mitch Mcconnell, Eric Cantor, they are frightening to look at let alone hear their rich man fascist stance. They are war mongers to top it off and with the likes of Newt Gingrich who wants to attack Iran as President we would be in more serious trouble than we are now. We can not allow them to get back in. I wish there was a way for Obama to separate himself from the Democratic party and run as an American who simply wants to see average Americans and our America succeed and not the party. The two party system is our enemy!

The elderly, needy, and average Americans are catching on. Republicans plan on screwing them over while keeping the tax cuts for the super wealthy. During good times everybody can get more conversely during tight times we must tighten our belts that means like it or not giving up what we gained. Not just the elderly and the poor everybody "the rich too" Congress should also give up their perks to share the pain!

Republicans are starting to get their just rewards and we must continue it until 2012 and get rid of them. As I said and you know, during tough times we all must sacrifice and pitch in not just the most vulnerable. Democrats understand this and they will make the responsible cuts and they will also stop the tax cuts to the super wealthy. Despite everything the Republicans have done to make Obama and the Democrats fail we better get them back in 2012 or we are in serious trouble. We discussed a couple weeks ago the $ millions they want to cut from the poor and needy while helping the super wealthy Here

Remember the "Unfunded Liabilities" Ruse: Under Bush the mainstream media had been parroting claims that the federal government, particularly the Social Security and Medicare programs, have dozens of trillions of dollars in "unfunded liabilities." For example, USA Today ran a long feature in early October 2004 that proclaimed that "the long-term economic health of the United States is threatened by $53 trillion in government debts and liabilities that start to come due in four years." Many other articles, news reports, and commentary have included comparable numbers that make the fiscal future look not just frightening but entirely unmanageable. Just put Bush's trillions in there and have a real hemorrhage.

These claims appear aimed at scaring us into making radical changes in our social insurance system for old people. But whatever the motivation, how scared should we be? What is true and what is phony about the alarms that fiscal disaster is looming just ahead? Unfunded Liabilities Ruse Social Security crisis heralded by Republicans for political gain, is it a crisis or a ruse? Imagine if we privatized it when he wanted to?

It is a frightening thought, discontinuing social security or even cutting social security, Medicaid, and Medicare. It is all millions have. I remember Romney when stumping for McCain saying it should be discontinued and the countries big enemy was the Democrats and their effort to take care of the elderly and the needy. Bush spent years cutting "unfunded liabilities" and trying to wipe out President Roosevelt's legacy. If the Republican's get back in they will do just that. All Democrats and all independents better make sure they come out in 2012 to get President Obama reelected, our future depends on it. If Republicans get back in the White House they are going to finish off average Americans and Bush's mis-agenda of destruction. One party rule is not our enemy our two party system is. We have to start getting involved ourselves like the rest of the world is

Putin Explains His Decision to Seek Presidency Again: Russian dominance in the future period!

Putin Explains His Decision to Seek Presidency Again: Vladimir V. Putin on Monday published his most personal explanation to date of his decision to return to the Russian presidency, rejecting the possibility of swift political change and casting himself in a historical context as the figure who must lead Russia out of a long, painful “zone of turbulence” that is just beginning.

He also sends a message that he is not willing to negotiate with opposition figures who, he says, lack a clear agenda for the country. “A recurring problem in Russian history is the desire of a part of its elites to make leaps, to embrace revolution instead of sequential development,

Ex-Putin Ally Vows to End Premier’s Rule: “Putin must go,” said Mironov, who leads the Just Russia opposition party and plans to join a protesters’ march for the first time in downtown Moscow on Feb. 4. “I don’t see any willingness by Putin to change the political system. He believes monopoly of power is good.”

I told you, be very concerned. Remember when he was rallying and uniting the world to take on Bush and his drive to dominate the world? Absolutely as the world's mayhem ensues amidst its drive to dominate as we move through the 21st century is Putin's only agenda. It is an old thought. I remember when term limits made him have to leave last time. There was immediate speculation as to him taking back the Presidency after his term ads PM. Well beware ,it is time and he will not be denied.

From Russia Of course Putin does not care but there was a sobering shock for Putin's party who has been intimidating and gaming the system for years in his effort to get his fascist hands on Russia again. This is proof positive of Russians' increasing suspicions of Putin's authoritarianism, ingrained corruption and falling living standards. Putin is not to be trusted and Russians have felt his grubby little hands around their necks for 12 years as he intimidates and tries to control Russia's future for his party.

Be scared be very scared! The USSR's Mikhail Gorbachev has warned that Russia risks six lost years when Vladimir Putin returns to the presidency, echoing rumblings of dissent over his Kremlin comeback. I always find myself agreeing with Gorbachev but that is putting it mildly. This is bad news for the US and the world!

This is very concerning. I remember back in 2008 when Putin was going to try and be President for life. He was not alone. Leaders aligned with Russia were all trying to get permanent leadership so they could be at the helm of their prospective countries to take on then President Bush when his war mongering hit the point where Russia, the 135 non aligned Nations, Iran, and others were prepared to join forces and take him and our allies on.

I remember when Bush first met Putin and he said he shook his hand and looked him in the eye and saw a man of compassion, a man who was true to his word, and a man he could work with. I shuttered at Bush's stupidity. I looked at Putin and saw a man deceitful to the core who was not to be trusted period.

We were too pompous then and were pushing the world towards WW3 with our take it or leave it, my way or the highway, interference around the world. Putin was determined to head us off, to directly confront us when we were on Russia's front door trying to instigate war by installing the so called missile shield in Czechoslovakia and Poland, and return Russia to the role of a world leader.

Personally we blew it when Russia broke up and the Berlin wall came down. We were the world leader and had the perfect opportunity to be humble, show we were the leader, and bring the world together to proceed successfully through the 21st century. We egged on the likes of Vladimir Putin who understandably chaffed under our we are the boss do what we say take it or leave it, it your face tactics of Bush and Cheney.

I had great hope when we elected President Obama who set the reset button with Russia and Russia who had elected Dmitri Medvedev who agreed to work with the US to proceed through the 21st century as partners instead of heading towards WW3 as adversaries. In Medvedev we see in his eyes and actions a man we can and do work with.

With the return of Putin to the Russian Presidency I am again very concerned and see an end to a partner country whose leaders words and actions we can trust and a return to a confrontational relationship with Russia. I do not like the man, I do not trust the man, and I am very concerned as to which direction Russia and the United States are headed now and at a time when China is surging militarily.

We must maintain a balance as we try to move progressively and successfully through the 21st century! Being in a superior position puts one in a unique position of power and that power must be handled gracefully, with humility, responsibly, and not abused. That is something I taught all my sons and America under Bush did a lousy job of handling.

We need Russia on our side. I am a little worried that China too is getting a little too heavy handed and abusive with her new position of power and beginning to take what she wants instead of being content with what she has which is what I constantly lecture has to be the case if we are to have a future. The time when man and the planet could handle war is over, period or else! Be very concerned for our future!

Video Story line: Syrian fighting inches closer to capital as Free Syrian army captures 5 Iranian soldiers

Syrian troops storm Damascus suburb: Syrian troops stormed a flashpoint suburb of Damascus on Thursday, rounding people up in house-to-house raids and clashing with army defectors, activists said, as the 10-month-old uprising inches ever closer to the capital.

Syrian fighting inches closer to capital: Syrian troops stormed a flashpoint suburb of Damascus on Thursday, rounding people up in house-to-house raids and clashing with army defectors, activists said, as the 10-month-old uprising inches ever closer to the capital.

Even as the fighting raged in Douma, tens of thousands of backers of President Bashar Assad poured into the streets just 10 miles away in downtown Damascus in a show of support for his embattled regime.

While the Syrian regime pummels away at long-restive cities such as Deraa and Hama, the new focal point for the revolution is none other than Damascus itself. Rebels, composed now of both army defectors and armed civilians, claim to be operating openly in Harasta, Hamowriya, Su'ban, Madaya and Ghouta, kidnapping regime personnel and taking the fight directly to Assad’s most elite (and loyal) army divisions and intelligence bureaus. There's now even an all-women Free Syrian Army (FSA) brigade.Rebel gains have been impressive enough to percolate into the international news cycle.

Russia vows to Block UN move on Syria's al-Assad:Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday that his country wouldn’t back UN decisions that endorsed unilateral sanctions by Arab and Western states or opened the way for foreign armed intervention in Syria. "We cannot support proposals under which unilateral sanctions are imposed against Syria without any consultations with Russia, China and other BRICS countries," Lavrov said on Wednesday.

Indeed, Russia presented its own draft of a UN resolution regarding Syria. And as Lavrov said, it remains on the table. The U.S. has criticized Russia for blocking sanctions against Syria and supplying weaponry to its Soviet-era ally. Syria received a shipment of Russian ammunition this month and has also signed a $550 million deal for 26 Yak-130 jet trainer aircraft, according to the Kommersant newspaper.

When is the western world going to get the fact that nothing they say or do matters as far as what Syria and Iran do. Syria and Bashar Al-Assad appear to be the masters. 16 insurgents killed, "make that 20" 10 detained in Afghanistan: Keep em coming victory is near, cheat the graveyard of Nations

16 insurgents killed, 10 detained in Afghanistan: They also discovered and confiscated seven AK-47 assault rifles, five rocket launchers, 18 pistols, 1,900 light bullets, 200 kg of opium and one vehicle, it added.Afghan forces and NATO-led coalition troops have intensified cleanup operations throughout the country recently. Over 65 insurgents have been killed and 320 others detained since the beginning of this year.

The Taliban insurgents, who stepped up their attacks on Afghan and NATO-led troops since a rebel offensive was launched in May 2011 in the war-ravaged country, have yet to make comments.

U.S. drone aircraft fired missiles in Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal region on Monday, killing at least four militants, intelligence officials and tribesmen said, the latest strikes in a resumption of the air campaign. The unacknowledged Central Intelligence Agency drone program, a key element in President Barack Obama's counter-terrorism strategy, was seemingly paused after a November 26 NATO cross-border air attack killed 24 Pakistani soldiers, triggering fury.

The United States resumed the program on January 10. In Monday's attacks, two missiles hit a vehicle in the village of Degan, and another two struck a house in nearby Mohammedkhel village.

At the urging of the Afghan Taliban, four major Pakistani insurgent factions have joined the Afghan guerrilla group known as the Haqqani network in a council aimed at resolving infighting and ending militant violence against civilians in Pakistan. Good now execute the coup de grace. Kill them all and bring the rest to the table!

Enter the year of the Taliban: No matter what the Chinese may say about 2012 being the year of the dragon, this is going to be the year of the Taliban so far as the United States is concerned.

The New Year began with an exciting media "leak" by senior United States officials in Washington that the Barack Obama administration was considering the transfer to Afghan custody of a senior Taliban official, Mullah Mohammed Fazl, who has been in Guantanamo, In a geopolitical coup, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit in Moscow on December 20 took a momentous decision that for the setting up of foreign military bases on CSTO territory Top it off with the Haqqani's the new leader's since the capture of mullah omar's trusted day one Commander and we may have Check, check, mate.

I think it is right to keep squeezing them until they are convinced that talking to us is the best and quickest way to see us gone. We must convince the Taliban to at least stay peaceful long enough to let us leave. The Taliban are indigenous to Afghanistan and when all is said and done they will be governing like it or not and who cares how as long as they are not harboring efforts against the west.

NATO: Raids To Go On With Afghan Participation: NATO will carry out nighttime kill-and-capture raids against suspected insurgents with increased participation from Afghan special forces, the alliance said Monday, after repeated protests by President Hamid Karzai.

The raids have become a flash point for anger over foreign meddling in Afghanistan and whether detention operations will be run by the Afghans or Americans. Karzai has demanded that foreign troops stop entering homes, saying Afghan citizens cannot feel secure if they think armed soldiers might burst into their houses in the middle of the night.

We know you are much better off when talking from a position of strength and having decimated the Taliban on both sides of the border I believe we are.

I think this is great, decimate them a little further and send them back to their roots of inter tribal warfare. Let them concentrate on being fractured and fighting and killing themselves and not us. Give us a chance to hold Obama accountable, get him reelected, and get us out of Afghanistan,

Supposedly since 2004, the US has been conducting a covert program to target and kill al Qaeda and Taliban commanders based in Pakistan's lawless northwest. The program has targeted top Al Qaeda leaders, Al Qaeda's external operations network, and Taliban leaders and fighters that threaten both the Afghan and Pakistani states.

I disagree with that since with President Bush the project was in name only to make it look like he cared while he spent all his time and effort in Iraq. That is why of the 67 some odd top Al Qaeda and Taliban leaders killed since 2004 all but 4 were killed on President Obama's watch. Since 2004, the US has been conducting a covert program to target and kill al Qaeda and Taliban commanders based in Pakistan's lawless northwest. The program has targeted top al Qaeda leaders, al Qaeda's external operations network, and Taliban leaders and fighters that threaten both the Afghan and Pakistani states.

Anyway now we have killed 80 more in one encounter at a so called "secret camp" Bad days and bad times for the Taliban, they are being decimated There is a reason for this success as I said!

The Taliban think they are getting away with something and we are just getting lucky but they are being watched closely by JSOC ready to pounce and take them out when given the command. I say give it now and save lives. My guess is the command has been given because the Haqqani's have been going down en-masse. The network is important but I think "they" should take out the Haqqani's first.

I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan and Afghanistan. I believe the are being squeezed from all sides and feeling intense pressure on their lifestyle and that is a big reason why the talks are progressing.

Anyway you look at it we are viewed as temporary and the violent convoluted backstabbing tribal relationships will always be a way of life in the border area especially. We can only be very concerned how this is going to turn out between NATO, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. It won't be translucent or good!

The Haqqani's seem true to Mullah Omar who want us out of Afghanistan and want their independent Afghanistan. Pakistan has proven they do not want a free and independent Afghanistan but want to control it. At this point I want to say our soldiers have done their job let them come home as scheduled if not sooner. Let Mullah Omar the Haqqani's and other Taliban interests fight for Afghanistan it is theirs not ours or Pakistan's. Good luck Hamid Karzai that's all I say!

Obama expects downfall of Syrian regime in near future: BS!

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent says its vice-president, Abdulrazak Jbeiro, has been shot dead.: "The lack of respect for medical services is still a great issue in Syria." Anti-government activists the Local Co-ordination Committees blamed his death on "security forces", while Syrian state news agency Sana pointed the finger at "a terrorist group".

As the fighting in Syria continues, diplomats at the UN say European and Arab nations are meeting to try to draft a new UN resolution to address the crisis. A previous attempt was stymied by Russia and China, and on Wednesday Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he was open to "constructive proposals" to end the violence.

France, Britain join Syria peace push at UN: Arab League monitors said the withdrawal of colleagues by Gulf Arab states would not hinder their work in Syria while France and Britain on Wednesday joined efforts at the United Nations to end President Bashar al-Assad's rule. "The U.N. Security Council must support the Arab League's courageous decisions which are trying to end the repression and violence in Syria and find a solution to the political crisis," French Foreign Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero said.

"Our aim is to get a resolution approved." President Barack Obama said in his State of the Union address that Assad would "soon discover that the forces of change can't be reversed." Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said his country, which holds a veto in the U.N. Security Council, remained opposed to sanctions on Syria and reiterated its opposition to military intervention.

Obama expects downfall of Syrian regime in near future: During his State of the Union address which was largely devoted to economic issues, President Obama also touched the Middle East. Regarding Syria, the US leader said he had no doubt President Bashar Assad's regime "will soon discover that the forces of change can't be reversed, and that human dignity can't be denied." I am afraid to say they can.

When is the western world going to get the fact that nothing they say or do matters as far as what Syria and Iran do. Syria and Bashar Al-Assad appear to be the masters. From the beginning of the chaos in Syria we have been saying that Iran more specifically the IRG (Iran Revolutionary Guard) was in Syria helping if not leading the way in trying to quell the uprising. NATO: 4 coalition troops killed by Afghan soldier: So called Rogue soldiers keep increasing, WTF is wrong with us?

NATO: 4 coalition troops killed by Afghan soldier: An Afghan soldier shot and killed four NATO troops in eastern Afghanistan on Friday, the U.S.-led coalition said. The shooting underscores the fragile relationship between Afghan and foreign troops who are partnered across the nation.

The nationalities of the troops killed were not released until recently so we know they were french soldiers. Troops from several nations, including the U.S. and France, are deployed in eastern Afghanistan. Similar attacks have raised fears of increased Taliban infiltration of the Afghan police and army as NATO speeds up the training of the security forces.

There have now been 52 attacks in the last 6 years by so called "Rogue" soldiers and members of the police force. We have to hurry up and get out of there. We have finally realized the Taliban is going to take over the Government and everything else as they should, it is their country. If the people do not like it they should rise up. I just absolutely abhor so called rogue soldiers killing their trainers. I wish they would cooperate and wait for us to leave as we better be doing. What the hell is wrong with us?

just a few weeks ago we wrote: So called Rogue soldier killings on the increase: Man in Afghan army uniform kills 2 NATO troops plus another American, I believe the rogue soldiers are the ones that cooperate with us.

An Afghan soldier turned his gun on U.S. personnel while they were playing volleyball at a camp in southern Afghanistan, killing one and wounding three others before being fatally shot, the Afghan police said Monday. It was the third time in just over two weeks that a man wearing an Afghan Army uniform attacked NATO personnel.

Man in Afghan army uniform kills 2 NATO troops:The shooting appeared to be the latest in a series of attacks by members of the Afghan security forces against their coalition partners. Such attacks have raised fears of increased Taliban infiltration of the Afghan police and army as NATO speeds up the training of the security forces. They were frenchmen again.

Gunman in Afghan uniform kills US soldier on : A man in an Afghan army uniform opened fire on a group of Americans at a base in the south of the country, killing a U.S. soldier and wounding another, an Afghan military spokesman said Monday. "Right now, an investigation is going on to determine whether he really was a soldier or someone using an army uniform. And if he was a soldier, what caused the shooting," Azimi said.

Another so called rogue Afghani incident this time 2 NATO dead
Rogue Afghan soldier shoots dead at least one: Afghan army soldier shoots dead at least one serviceman in Helmand.

Police: Afghan guard kills 2 NATO troops: Police say an Afghan guard has shot dead two NATO troops accompanying a reconstruction team convoy traveling in a northern province. Another so called rogue soldier hell! And they say we may be there for another 3 decades? Get out now!

Another so called rogue Afghani incident this time 2 NATO dead: some 12 Americans in 2 years, 6 NATO troops in a day, things are getting better? This crap will not stop till we leave.

Remember this? Rogue Afghan policeman' kills six Nato troops as Six Nato troops have been killed by a man wearing an Afghan police uniform during a training session in eastern Afghanistan. This is happening ever increasingly why can't we get the message and leave them on their own? Give them money and supplies and follow it from a distance until we prove how corrupt Afghanistan is and let them have their civil war guaranteed by Bush as in Iraq. Our soldiers did their job get them home now with Honor as they deserve!

We found out they were US troops. I am sick of the frequent so called rogue afghans killing our troops!Enough!

A suspected Afghan army trainer on a shooting range in northern Afghanistan also opened fire on his fellow instructors killing two American civilian trainers and one other Afghan soldier before being killed himself. This really scares me because my youngest just finished his tour in Iraq and arrived in Afghanistan to aid in the training, he made it and is home. I do not trust them at all. They are Muslim's repelling the infidel, us, they are not our allies.Afghan army trainer opens fire on fellow instructors killing 2 more Americans

This was just one week after another rogue Afghan soldier killed three British soldiers at a base in Helmand province. They are still looking for that so called rogue traitor who went ballistic.

The Afghan military identified the rogue Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier who went ballistic and killed 3 British troops in Helmand province 6 months ago now.

I am pretty pissed! I found the article I wrote on Afghan soldiers killing Americans and realized in that instance too the worm they call a rogue or a traitor killed the Americans while they slept.

Remember this? Afghan soldier shoots dead two American troops Man WTF? They had just returned from a joint operation with Afghanistan and the SOB shot the US soldiers dead wounding 2 others while they slept! Isn't it obvious? How many more have to die? Get the hell out America don't you get the message? Sharia law is preferred not Democracy!

I reiterate though it is a waste of time that like Afghanistan Pakistan is largely tribal but they want a central Government and freedom from the Taliban to continue to have their tribal customs and freedoms and are fighting for it! NATO go home! Scale back! Get out! We keep hearing how tough Afghani's are. Prove it! Pakistan has shown what they want and so has Afghanistan. Can't we take a frigging hint?

We keep hearing how we must get to Taliban moderates and Afghan moderates well get with it do it now and let them fight for their country. Moderate tribesmen in parts of militant-ravaged north-west Pakistan are challenging Taliban extremists threatening to overrun their area, in what will develop into a mass resistance movement. That is what Afghanistan must do!

America and NATO must get out! We have been there 10 years, more than twice as long as WW2, now our longest war! If Afghanistan wanted freedom from the Taliban they would already be trained and fighting for it instead of just letting themselves be killed as pawns.

Our soldiers did their job leave now with heads held high not our tails between our legs like in Saigon! Give food and supplies to the Afghans and if they want their freedom they will fight for it like the Pakistani tribes are. We should be helping Pakistan who has proved they want their freedom from Taliban and Sharia law. Don't keep adding more troops this is Afghanistan graveyard of Nations. Cheat history get out now!

Iran Quds Force to aid Syria if outside forces interfere, Assad's political, military foes step up pressure

Assad's political, military foes step up pressure :The Syrian National Council, an umbrella group, said in a statement the decision was taken in talks on Saturday night with the Syrian Free Army (SFA), formed of deserters from the military.

A liaison office was set up and "a hotline to follow internal political developments on the ground," it said.
The statement said further meetings would be held involving military experts "to strengthen the capacity of the SFA against regime forces and to protect civilian regions which the regime wants to raid or pillage."

'Quds Force to aid Syria if outside forces interfere': The source said that Iran believes that the situation in Syria is different than "other countries that saw similar protests," adding that the Revolutionary Guards "surround" Syria through their allies in Iraq and Lebanon.

The Iranian military official also said that "sources" in Syria have assured Tehran through official channels that the situation in Syria is "stable," despite reports of continued deaths in clashes between anti- and pro-government forces. Qatar's emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani became the first Arab leader Saturday to express interest in sending troops to stop Assad's "killing."

Only Syria can recieve outside help: Russian weapons ship arrives in Syria: The cargo ship MV Chariot, flying the St. Vincent and Grenadines flag, was en route from St. Petersburg to the Syrian port of Latakia carrying from 35 to 60 tons of ammunition and explosives meant for the Syrian Defense Ministry. The Russian Foreign Ministry said the ship carried a “dangerous cargo,” but did not elaborate. According to the documents, the cargo sender was the Russian state arms trader Rosoboronexport.

'Iran arming Assad to suppress protests':Major-General Qasem Soleimani, head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds force, visited Syria this month, AFP reported. "We think this relates to Iranian support for the Syrian government's attempts to suppress its people," the senior US official said.

I said when soldiers first defected that it would take the whole army as they are fighting the IRG too even though for now itt is denied. The Government is blaming this attacks on terrorist or more likely protesters.

This really brings the confusion in Syria and the middle east and the world full swing for me. Once again I am left dumbfounded. From the beginning with the occurrence of 9/11 we were told and we knew that we were in a different world that required a new way of thinking. Meanwhile we routinely prove incapable of doing that when confronted with the so called terrorists.

However we have done exactly that when it comes to the average well intentioned citizens of the world. In every Government in the world today lying has become the new truth. Governments including the United States routinely lie in order to create a grey area in which to hide the truth from the people of the world so we do not know who is telling the truth, what the truth is, and they can follow their deceitful destructive agenda.

Syria and Bashar Al-Assad appear to be the masters. From the beginning of the chaos in Syria we have been saying that Iran more specifically the IRG (Iran Revolutionary Guard) was in Syria helping if not leading the way in trying to quell the uprising.

UN urged to follow Arab League as Russia warns Syria they can do no more: Now Iran is on their own.

I just heard that the Arab League has just elected to leave Syria instead of being a witness to slaughter and an excuse to do the same. WTF is that? What happened to the glorious plan to save the people involving the UN and the Arab League? Of course Syria I mean Iran will use this as a flag to go ahead with their slaughter unabated. This can't be true!

Syria unrest: Arab League mulls extending monitor team: The observers have been criticized for failing to stop the violence, but analysts say the league is expected to renew the mission for another month.Meanwhile, Syrian rebels said that army deserters had briefly taken control of much of the Damascus suburb of Douma on Saturday night after fierce fighting with the security services.

The opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the fighting broke out after security services shot dead four civilians at a funeral service. The rebels later decided to withdraw for fear of reprisal raids from the government forces, the group said, adding that no deserters or government troops were present in Douma by Saturday night, only a basic police force remained.
Swell the numbers of Observers and the next time they are dragged into this by being fired on let them take up arms, claim self defense, and they are in against Syrian forces.

Syria rejects Arab League demands - live updates: so Gulf states to withdraw observers from Syria:  Gulf Arab states say they have decided to withdraw their observers from the the Arab League mission to Syria, saying that the much-criticised initiative has failed to stop the bloodshed. Tuesday's development comes after Saudi Arabia said on Monday that its observers would be withdrawn.

"Gulf Co-operation Council [GCC] states have decided to follow Saudi Arabia's decision to pull out its observers from the Arab League mission in Syria," the regional bloc said in a statement on Tuesday.
It said the GCC was "certain the bloodshed and killing of innocents would continue, and that the Syrian leadership would not abide by the Arab League's resolutions". What a terrible message this can't be true.

Syria signs Russian military jet deal : SYRIA has signed a $526.9 million contract to purchase 36 Yak-130 advanced training fighter planes from Russia. The Kommersant business daily reported today that the deal was signed in December with Russia's Rosoboronexport state defence corporation.

Kremlin envoy says Russia can do no more for Assad: Moscow is one of Assad's few remaining allies, resisting pressure to call for his resignation and, with China, blocking a Western-crafted U.N. Security Council resolution that would have condemned a crackdown that has killed thousands of civilians.

But Russia can do no more, state-run news agency Itar-Tass quoted Mikhail Margelov, a senior lawmaker who is President Dmitry Medvedev's special Africa envoy and has also engaged in diplomacy over Syria, as saying. "(Our) veto on the U.N. Security Council resolution was the last instrument allowing Bashar al-Assad to maintain the status quo in the international arena," Margelov was quoted as saying.

UN urged to back Arab plan on Syria: Germany on Monday led European demands for strong UN Security Council support for Arab League calls for Syria's President Bashar al-Assad to hand over power. Germany's UN ambassador Peter Wittig said the Arab League plan for Syria agreed at the weekend could be a ``game changer'' for the Security Council which has been deadlocked with Russia and China vetoing one resolution condemning the Syrian government's deadly crackdown.

Wittig said Germany would be following up a formal letter demanding that Arab League secretary general Nabil al-Arabi brief the 15-member Security Council ``as soon as possible''. Arab League foreign ministers at the weekend sought Security Council endorsement for their latest plan which calls for Assad to hand over powers to a deputy while elections and a new constitution are organized.
Game changer? No way!

I said when soldiers first defected that it would take the whole army as they are fighting the IRG too. The Government is blaming this attack too on terrorist or more likely protesters. Read the report and you will agree that once again the Government did it killing a few of their own and mostly civilians to gain world sympathy for their brutal slaughter of her own people.

Iran will never allow Syria to fall to Democracy.

Suspected US drone kills 3 militants in Pakistan: Why now? It speaks for itself

Suspected US drone kills 3 militants in Pakistan: Unmanned U.S. aircraft fired missiles into a home in a tribal region of western Pakistan on Wednesday, killing at least three militants, local intelligence officials said, in an attack that ended a lengthy pause in drone strikes that have become the mainstay of U.S. efforts to quash militants fueling violence across the border in Afghanistan.

The Obama administration contends that drone strikes have helped weaken the central leadership of al Qaeda and put associated militant groups on the defensive. For whatever reason, the latest lethal drone strike appears to demonstrate that if there was any kind of moratorium on such attacks, it has now been lifted.
Pakistan admit it or not obviously is seeing the error in her ways.

US ends longest lull in drone strikes over Pakistan. Why now?: The US insists it believed the position of stopping them was held by militants, who use the border region as a staging ground for attacks on NATO troops in Afghanistan. A logistics operative with the Haqqani terrorist group, which uses sanctuaries in Pakistan to carry out attacks on allied troops in Afghanistan, said militants could still hear drones flying surveillance missions, day and night. “There are still drones, but there is no fear anymore,” he said in a telephone interview. The logistics operative said fighters now felt safer to roam more freely

That feeling of safety is over and the Haqqani's and other so called terrorists better watch out because they are not safe. All those over flights they heard were observing only and can now act on what they saw.

A nearly two-month lull in American drone strikes in Pakistan has helped embolden Al Qaeda and several Pakistani militant factions to regroup, increase attacks against Pakistani security forces and threaten intensified strikes against allied forces in Afghanistan, American and Pakistani officials say.

The Central Intelligence Agency, hoping to avoid making matters worse while Pakistan completes a wide-ranging review of its security relationship with the United States, has not conducted a drone strike since mid-November. Diplomats and intelligence analysts say the pause in C.I.A. missile strikes — the longest in Pakistan in more than three years — is offering for now greater freedom of movement to an insurgency that had been splintered by in-fighting and battered by American drone attacks in recent months.

Bomb kills 35 in Pakistan tribal area: Pakistan's deadliest terror attack in months had killed 35 people and injured 69 others in the Taliban-affected north-west. The remote controlled bomb was detonated in a busy market place.

The troubled Khyber tribal region serves as the main supply route for NATO forces in Afghanistan and is a stronghold of the Taliban in Pakistan and al-Qaeda affiliated fighters and other armed groups opposed to the government. Obviously Pakistan has taken note. In the past militants used US supply trucks as the excuse for attacks in the Kyber pass. With the US gone and the attacks continuing it is obvious militant attacks continued only Pakistan has become the target as they should have expected.

15 Kidnapped Pakistani Soldiers Executed by the Taliban in a Retaliatory Gesture: The executions followed the death of a high-ranking Taliban commander on Sunday and came just days after local news media reported that several factions of the Taliban had vowed not to attack the Pakistani military.

Army officials in Pakistan say militants have killed 10 paramilitary troops they had been holding hostage since last month. Military official Naeem Khan said the bodies of the Frontier Corps soldiers were recovered on January 6 in the Orakzai region near the Afghan border. Khan said the 10 men were seized last month in a raid on a security base in Orakzai. Last week, militants killed 15 soldiers they had been holding in North Waziristan, near the border with Afghanistan.

As they have from the beginning Pakistan officially objected to the operations against suspected al Qaeda and Taliban militants along its border with Afghanistan, saying they violate its sovereignty to satisfy their citizens. At the same time Islamabad has pushed Washington to provide it with the drones to allow it to carry out its own attacks on Taliban insurgents, a move that could ease widespread anti-American sentiment in Pakistan.

Under Obama from the beginning The United States has stepped up its attacks with the pilot less drone aircraft attacks in Pakistan even more so since a double agent blew himself up at a U.S. base in Afghanistan on December 30, killing seven CIA agents. The so called weak President on terror has drastically increased the use of like it or not what has become an important tool in the so called war on terror.

Are we at war or not? I am not going to say the US should be able to put boots on the ground wherever she wants in this still just beginning so called war on terror but it must be realized and acknowledged that like it or not the US is a prime target if not the main target and is the prime face in the so called war on terror.

We have been saying from the beginning that this is a new kind of war, a war like no other. We the entire world better make believe they realize that and act accordingly. Our future depends on it. Everyone who reads my reports knows I did not trust Bush and Cheney an iota. They made me question everything we have done in the past.

That said, consider the source! I would hope that Obama has no designs of dominating the sovereignty of Pakistan, or anywhere else we have to go to prosecute this so called war on terror. Muslim countries do not want our boots on the ground so they have to allow openly or clandestinely our use of drones in this the first war of the 21st century!

The uses of Drone’s are a necessary evil. They are our equalizer as IED’s are the militant’s necessary evil and equalizer in the new battlefront! The draw back in IED’s or drones is civilian casualties. Civilians always pay the price!

That said, civilian casualties are hard to verify as the so called enemy inflates the numbers to win the media war for hearts and minds with wild allegations as we are not allowed to put boots on the ground in Pakistan.

Therefore civilian casualties are Pakistan’s fault as all sides agree we can not relent and we must all increase our efforts and do what we can to ensure our success and our successful future!

Pakistan admit it or not obviously is seeing the error in her ways. Allowing the drones or at least feigning anger at the attacks is a necessary evil to Pakistan's very existence at this stage of the game. It has become totally obvious To Pakistan I hope that we need each other. If we are not in the picture the militants will have the freedom and luxury to turn on them and they will. Pakistan better be very concerned because they are in a lose lose situation and when all is said and done they and there nukes are the militants targets.

China says US defense policy stance misjudges Beijing intent: judge for yourself

China says US defense policy stance misjudges Beijing intent: The United States' expanded military presence in Asia is based on a miscalculation of Beijing's intent to modernize its military defenses, China said on Monday, taking a tempered stance in its first official response to Washington's plan. The United States unveiled a defense strategy last week to boost capacity in Asia, an attempt to counter China's growing ability to check U.S. power in the region, that comes with a pledged reduction in the overall size of U.S. forces. I think we have it just right this time if Iran will allow us the luxury.

China and U.S. Brinkmanship in the South China Sea: Two weeks ago, The Washington Post broadsided us with another Beltway bombshell: China's "Underground Great Wall" – a "vast network of tunnels" with a "sophisticated missile and nuclear arsenal" dug by "a secretive branch of the Chinese military."

China is also challenging its neighbors over the Spratly Islands, the Paracels, the Scarborough Shoals, Reed Bank and Tungsha in a South China Sea home to 17.7 billion tons of oil and gas? According to the Indonesian Center of Democracy, Diplomacy and Defense, Beijing has deployed 27 battleships, an aircraft carrier and unknown submarines to the area amid competing claims with Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam.

After years of covering the growing tensions between China the US and all of the rest of Asia feeling bullied by China the story is getting long. Factbox: Pentagon details China's military expansion :The Pentagon said that China was on track to forge a modern military by 2020, a rapid buildup that could be potentially destabilizing to the Asia-Pacific region. Its annual assessment to Congress on China flagged all the major concerns over its growing military might, including Beijing's widening edge over Taiwan.

It also noted cyber attacks in 2010 -- including on U.S. government computers -- that appear to have originated in China. Here are details from the report Wow check out the wide expansion

The United States wants a prominent role in Asia to counter China's developing aggression The U.S. move to "return to Asia" aims to gain more interests from Asia's regional development and cement its dominant position in Asia. First, it should learn to get along with China. Its "return" to Asia has drawn people's attention back to a possible confrontation between itself and China. Many Western scholars believe that the reassertion of the leading U.S. role in Asia is directed against China because only China's rise can pose a potential challenge to its hegemony. Furthermore, a few Asian countries hope to take advantage of the United States, especially its military power, to strike a so-called strategic balance with China
.
U.S. wants to use India in missile shield against Russia, China

We have been discussing increased tensions due to ownership claims over long disputed islands and unrecovered raw material riches below the east and South China Seas for years. China is embroiled in territorial disputes with Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Brunei Japan, and India:

China has been making all these ownership claims while warning other Asian countries to stay away. Meanwhile they have supposedly been building their world war machine with "innocent" intentions. China accuses Japan of exaggerating it as a military threat: It is no exaggeration it is called truth and you better be concerned
and China calls weapons modernization drive warnings alarmist "cock-and-bull story.
Also US senators warn Beijing on South China Sea, China warns US to stay out of it

All this to no avail as China's answer is always that her intentions are innocent "yeah like Hitler's military buildup prior to WW2" We must all stop playing these games at this point and like it or not "share" if we are to survive into the future. Sadly we know the powers to be are not smart enough to do that. We are already in severe trouble with the condition of the world environmentally and due to power struggles getting ready to erupt in the Middle East and make things horrifically worse in many regards.

I am a little worried that China too is getting a little too heavy handed and abusive with her new position of power and beginning to take what she wants instead of being content with what she has which is what I constantly lecture has to be the case if we are to have a future. The time when man and the planet could handle war and colonialism is over, period or else!

We are Taiwan's, the Philippines, and Japan's protectors and now Vietnam's. Vietnam is no real threat to China so what is up here? As China flex's their military muscles in the area we are not supposed to worry. Just what are we supposed to think they are going to do with their advanced weaponry, missiles, stealth aircraft, aircraft carriers and the like.

Their threats are going to become more ominous until they cannot be ignored and it is too late. We have been here before. The world was not supposed to worry as Hitler built his arsenal and we know how that turned out. If peace is truly the goal then try something unique and share the wealth. We need peace to succeed as a world into the 21st century not more and never ending war.

To make the situation worse as we've discussed often, the US is pledged to defend Taiwan who "at least they say" will never unify under China. There is no way we can get militarily involved with China's lust to rebuild Imperial China. Three years ago the US signed a deal to deliver a massive amount of advanced weaponry to Taiwan. The package includes a variety of U.S.-made weapons systems, including Patriot III anti-missile missiles, Apache attack helicopters, Harpoon missiles and Javelin anti-tank missiles. This was 3 years ago
Some deliveries are in process and some still being worked out.

China is not taking this lying down! We have covered East, South, and China sea disputes extensively

Knowing all of this I must once again express naivety. We are so kept in the dark as to any truth in any incident here and around the world. I had no idea or even thought in this context but President Hu Jintao's call for a rejuvenation of the country 100 years after the Xinhai Revolution that ended more than 2,000 years of dynastic rule in China is something new to me. Worse part is that this includes Taiwan too and China is not going to settle for no! China Urges Reunification at 100th Anniversary of Demise of Last Dynasty

President Hu calls on all of China's sons and daughters to join hands to carry on with the work of the Chinese Republic's first president, Sun Yat-sen, and realize his ideals of what he described as “China's great rejuvenation.” China has not been building her military and flexing her muscles for nothing. China wants Asia period and not just supremacy. She is going to have her Dynasty once again United States be damned. I do not like this, once again we are putting ourselves right in the middle of a growing conflict or war.

As we discussed there have been at least three cases of groups of Chinese military ships crossing through the area of Okinawa since November 2008, first 4 ships then 6 then 8 and now 10 including destroyers and submarines. That case appeared to be the first involving surfaced submarines. The group of 10 ships, including the submarines, was observed about 90 miles (140 kilometers) southwest of Okinawa in international waters.

Two missile destroyers and three frigate ships from the same group were spotted participating in a flight exercise of carrier-based helicopters April 7-9, the Defense Ministry's Joint Staff Office said in a statement The war ships were in international waters but close to Okinawa and Japan was not notified. That area as you may know has natural resources under the ocean and islands claimed by both Nations.

It is important that we stay in Okinawa as China plays a more important role in Asia and around the world as she gains strength militarily and economically as we just discussed. Remember our discussion on the importance of China and the US staying together to move successfully through the 21st century

We must maintain as much of the old world balance and order as we can to maintain a balance as we try to move progressively and successfully through the 21st century! I know of China and Japan's past, I know of the still ongoing Island disputes, the disagreement over natural gas in another area of the East China Sea, I also remember that with China's economic clout rising she took the number 3 seat on the world bank and we talk constantly that China is taking the leading role in Asia and Asia relations.

Being in a superior position puts one in a unique position of power and that power must be handled gracefully, with humility, responsibly, and not abused. That is something I taught all my sons and America under Bush did a lousy job of handling. I am a little worried that China too is getting a little too heavy handed and abusive with her new position of power and beginning to take what she wants instead of being content with what she has which is what I constantly lecture has to be the case if we are to have a future. The time when man and the planet could handle war and colonialism is over, period or else!

We are Taiwan's and Japan's protectors.

Arab monitor chief confirms existence of armed groups in Syria because they are doing Bashar Al-Assad's bidding

I saw an interview of pro Assad demonstrators and one woman was saying she wishes the Arab League monitors would leave because their arrival cued the beginning of the bombings and increased bipartisan killings. That is exactly right but the bombings signify an effort by Al-Assad to gain sympathy and backing for his killing of peaceful citizens wanting a Democracy. Following are the two bombings he blames on terrorists. You make up your own mind.

Hezbollah TV reports 30 killed, 55 wounded in car-bomb attacks; Syrian state television says initial investigations indicate al Qaida behind bombings: "The terrorist attacks left a number of martyrs, both civilian and military. Most of the victims were civilian," Syrian TV said in a news flash. State television also claimed that initial investigations indicated that al Qaida was behind the attacks. A witness from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said he heard heavy gunfire break out after the blasts. This is definitely Al Qaeda's MO killing civilians but?

Suicide bomb kills 25 in Damascus: Syrian TV: Syrian state television earlier showed body parts, bloodstains and broken glass from the blast in the central Maidan district, along with people shouting that this was the work of "terrorists." Several riot police shields could be seen in a wrecked bus, which was among several damaged vehicles. "Immediate information indicates that a suicide terrorist blew himself up at a traffic light in the Maidan neighborhood," state television said. "There are dozens of dead and wounded, mostly civilians."

The Government is blaming these attacks on terrorists or more likely protesters. Read the reports and you will agree that once again the Government did it killing a few of their own and mostly civilians to gain world sympathy for their brutal slaughter of her own people. The Government has been saying it is fighting armed intruders but in the beginning it was purely unarmed peaceful civilians. Seeing them getting slaughtered has been too much for some soldiers who have defected to help the people.

Scores more soldiers defect from Syrian army : A senior military officer in the Syrian city of Hama has defected along with up to 50 of his soldiers, in protest against the government’s ten-month crackdown on peaceful demonstrations that has claimed thousands of lives across the country. Colonel Afeef Mahmoud Suleiman, who is from the air force logistics division, announced his defection live on Al Jazeera's Arabic news channel on Saturday.

Suleiman said he and his men had taken on a new mission to keep protesters in Hama safe during demonstrations. "We are from the army and we have defected because the government is killing civilian protesters. The Syrian army attacked Hama with heavy weapons, air raids and heavy fire from tanks," Suleiman said. "We ask the Arab League observers to come visit areas affected by air raids and attacks so you can see the damage with your own eyes.

HEAVY clashes have broken out between the Syrian army and deserters, leaving 11 of its soldiers dead, human rights activists said. Another 20 soldiers were wounded in the fighting in Daraa province, south of the capital, while nine soldiers defected to join the rebel troops, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

It really peeves me that the monitors sent to keep Syria straight have been caught up in their slaqughter but have ignored it as some of them are killers in their own countries. Instead they simply state that the Syrian Government is facing armed violence. No kidding Assad was killing them and created an armed civil war on purpose.

Arab monitor chief confirms existence of armed groups in Syria: The result of the work by the Arab observers in Syria was the introduction of some amendments in the stance within the Arab League. In addition to recognizing the existence of armed groups in Syria, there is a growing call to strengthen the work of the observers, according to the protocol signed with the Syrian government. Yeah Bashar created them so he could have an excuse to kill civilians and quell the drive for Democracy

Plea to Arab League to monitor Syrian flashpoints - Yahoo! News: The Arab monitors are there to help teach the Syrian regime how to kill their own ... Arab League peace monitors ... suspected of major human rights abuses ...news.yahoo.com/plea-arab-league-monitor-syrian... -

Syrian regime: We are being targeted by "terrorists": Coffins bearing 11 policemen, covered with Syrian flags, were brought into the Al-Hassan mosque for the prayers, a day after the explosion ripped through a Damascus intersection, killing 26 people and wounding 63. Officials said the attack was a suicide bombing, the second in two weeks to hit the normally quiet Syrian capital.

The regime of President Bashar Assad has touted the attacks as proof that it is being targeted by "terrorists." But the country's opposition demanded an independent investigation, accusing forces loyal to the Syrian regime of being behind the bombing to tarnish a 10-month-old uprising against Assad. The bombings have coincided with a mission by Arab League observers investigating Syria's crackdown on the protest.

I agree with the opposition that there should be an investigation but by an independent source so one side or the other will not purposely be found at fault. Dahida Abdul-Rahman, 50-year-old housewife at the prayers, said the Arab observers should be thrown out of the country. "Since they came, terrorist attacks started," she said. She is dead right and it is being done by the Government to gain sympathy for their murder of civilians and their deserter protectors.

I said when soldiers first defected that it would take the whole army as they are fighting the IRG too.The Government is blaming this attack too on terrorist or more likely protesters. Read the report and you will agree that once again the Government did it killing a few of their own and mostly civilians to gain world sympathy for their brutal slaughter of her own people.

Syrian Muslim Brotherhood turns down Iran offer to run Syria while rebels take their first town

Iran offered Syria’s Brotherhood power if it agreed to Assad staying on: official: Iran has offered the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood a deal that includes giving the Islamist opposition group all of the government, but under the condition that President Bashar al-Assad remains as the country’s premier, an official said in a newspaper interview published on Wednesday.

Syrian Muslim Brotherhood leader: Isolate Assad: The leader of Syria's Muslim Brotherhood said world powers should pile diplomatic pressure on President Bashar Assad and he called for a no-fly zone and "safe zones" to be set up to help the Syrian leader's opponents.

"The Syrian people are determined. Nobody will go back to their homes unless Bashar leaves. There is a determination and God willing the people will reach this goal," he said in a telephone interview late on Wednesday.

:Rebels hail 'first free town in Syria' as Assad troops flee:THEY have called it the “first free town in Syria”. Opposition forces claim to have beaten back the soldiers of president Bashar al-Assad from the mountain border town of Zabadani and plan to turn it into a hub of armed resistance against the regime in Damascus.

After five days of intensive battles, dozens of government tanks and armoured vehicles pulled back from Zabadani – only 17 miles from Damascus on the border with Lebanon – after a reported ceasefire agreement. But the insurgents heralded it as an unprecedented victory – the first population centre the government has been unable to take control of even a part of.

We know Iran has been helping and guiding Syria from day one and will never allow a Democracy there.
