10 years later: Anthrax, Death by letter "by our own hands"

In the Anthrax lie the smoking gun was smoke and mirrors as investigation finds evidence inconclusive, we knew it was a lie

Anthrax report casts doubt on scientific report linking Bruce Ivins to the Anthrax attacks? They find some cracks in the conclusions the FBI based on the scientific evidence. About damn time now what? Those phony attacks came right after Bush was turned down for the so called Patriot Act. What a coincidence!

Remember when they first tried to blame it on terrorist? When I first heard the guy they suspected in the Anthrax attacks suddenly committed suicide I didn't know what to think of it but after I heard the Government's excuse that the scientist was testing his cure for the virus that was why he did it, I got very suspicious. I mean cut the crap! Suicide, how convenient! Another set up in the lie we were living under the Nazi Administration of Bush.

Think about all this! Friends say a scientist who killed himself amid an anthrax investigation fit many stereotypes, but biological terrorist was not one of them. People who knew Bruce Ivins recall a friendly, helpful man whose neighbors had no reason to suspect him of wrongdoing; an eternal graduate student with ill-fitting clothes and an awkward social manner; an apolitical egghead too busy with his work to carry out the crimes the FBI suspected him of. Sources have told CNN that Ivins knew he was about to be charged in connection with mailing spores of the deadly bacteria anthrax to a number of congressional offices and media outlets in autumn 2001. Five people died, including two postal workers, and more than a dozen people became ill. No one has been arrested in the case.

Sources told CNN the government planned to seek the death penalty against Ivins, but he had not been charged with a crime at the time he died. Ivins, 62, worked for more than 30 years as an anthrax researcher at Fort Detrick, Maryland, home of the U.S. Army's Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. He co-wrote a paper only weeks ago outlining the effects of a drug on anthrax in mice, one of dozens of papers in his career. Ivins was also a member of the American Red Cross and a musician at his church, St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter, two brothers and his mother.

People who knew him were shocked to learn of his death and the possible criminal charges. "Ivins was as mild as they come," said Luann Battersby, a former microbiologist who worked with Ivins at Fort Detrick. She remembers a man who wore slightly ill-fitting trousers that revealed his white socks -- a man who never grew out of habits from his years as a graduate student. "He continued to live the lifestyle of a grad student, no frills," Battersby said. Norm Covert, who worked with Ivins until retiring in 1999, remembers the scientist as "a brilliant man, very intense with his work." "We're looking at a man with a distinguished 30-something-year career, unparalleled and known around the world," Covert said. "His career and his reputation are trashed and the FBI still hasn't said what they have on him." This is another set up in the lie we are living today

* The Governments excuse for all this is absolute BS! The government's working theory — that brilliant but troubled Army scientist Bruce E. Ivins released the anthrax to test his cure for the toxin — answers some of the questions, perhaps, but many details remain unclear. "I think the FBI owes us a complete accounting of their investigation and ought to be able to tell us at some point, how we're going to bring this to closure," said former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschlez of South Dakota, whose office received a letter containing the deadly white powder in 2001. "It's been nine years, there's a lot of unanswered questions and I think the American people deserve to know more than they do today." Ivins' unexpected emergence as the top — and perhaps only — suspect in the anthrax attacks follows on the heels of the government's exoneration of another Army scientist in the case. No kidding, the guy being a mild mannered recluse was an obvious target to cover the Governments real role in the anthrax attacks!

* Responding to reports about Ivins the Justice Department said only that "substantial progress has been made in the investigation" . "We need to know exactly how Mr. Ivins was involved, if he was involved, how this relates to the case and information that so far has been withheld from the American people ought to be provided," Daschle said. "And I think it should be soon." Bennet Bolton, a friend of the first anthrax victim — Robert Stevensz — was suspicious about Ivins suicide and whether the government will disclose what happened. "I don't think this guy was involved," Bolton said, questioning what led investigators from his dead friend — a tabloid photo editor in southern Florida — to the scientist at the Army's biological warfare labs at Fort Detrick, Md.It's a lie, Congress kept in the dark for a reason

I want to say this is just another example of the lie we are living today!

World shocked by US execution of Troy Davis: Death penalty on decline worldwide, Still the US is in the top 5, what is going on here?

Alabama carries out third US execution in a week: The execution followed two high-profile lethal injections this week in Georgia and Texas. In a case that drew international attention, Troy Davis was put to death in Georgia on Wednesday for the murder of a police officer despite claims by his advocates that he may have been innocent.

World shocked by US execution of Troy Davis: World figures, including Pope Benedict XVI and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, human rights groups and commentators urged the execution to be halted -- but to no avail. On Wednesday Davis was put to death by lethal injection for the 1989 killing of off-duty police officer Mark MacPhail despite doubts being raised over the conviction.

The execution sparked angry reactions and protests in European capitals -- as well as outrage on social media. "We strongly deplore that the numerous appeals for clemency were not heeded," the French foreign ministry said. "There are still serious doubts about his guilt," said Germany's junior minister for human rights Markus Loening. "An execution is irreversible -- a judicial error can never be repaired."

The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles made its decision less than three hours before Samuel David Crowe, 47, was to be executed, according to a spokeswoman for the state's prisons. "After careful and exhaustive consideration of the requests, the board voted to grant clemency. The board voted to commute the sentence to life without parole," the parole board said.

Crowe's death would have marked the third execution since the U.S. Supreme Court lifted an unofficial moratorium on the death penalty last month. Crowe was not present at the parole board hearing in Atlanta. He had already eaten his last meal and was preparing to enter the execution chamber at the prison in Jackson, Georgia, Mallie McCord of the Georgia Department of Corrections said.

You are hearing the usual conjections as to race because Davis was Black and Crowe is white but this fast pace of killing convicts is moving too fast, maybe because of election season but Georgia and Texas seem to be an a race as to who can kill more. Enough is enough!

I've said it before but many of us have a moral problem with the death penalty in light of the many recently highlight cases of those put to death who were railroaded and were innocent.. Plain and simple, it's barbaric. I don't care whether it's Davis, an African American who steadfastly proclaimed he did not murder Mark MacPhail, a white, off-duty police officer; or Lawrence Brewer, one of three white assailants convicted in the dragging death of James Byrd, who was murdered for being black. Brewer was executed in Texas, the capital-punishment capital, also Wednesday, In fact, Texas has walked 475 people to slaughter since 1976.

I thought we were making progress but what the hell is going on of late? Illinois joined the ranks of those outlawing the death penalty! Why can't the entire US?

The last fifteen death row inmates in Illinois will live out their days in jail cells, instead of dying on a execution gurney, now that capital punishment has officially ended in the state. What are your thoughts on that? The ban took effect on Friday, July 1st But the state Department of Corrections began emptying the death row cells in Pontiac in March. The prisoners have been evaluated and moved to other maximum security facilities throughout Illinois, department spokeswoman Stacey Solano said.

Illinois Governor Pat Quinnz signed into law a ban on the death penalty on March 9, saying it was impossible to fix a system that had wrongly condemned at least 20 innocent men. Illinois death row inmates moved to regular jail cells No kidding!

China, Iran, North Korea, Yemen, and the United States lead the world in carrying out the most death sentences. Amnesty International: Death penalty on decline, US in top 5 That's quite the company to be proud of isn't it?

What do you think about the death penalty? My thoughts below; Thirty-four states, including Virginia and Maryland, allow capital punishment. All use lethal injection, and, until recently, most had used a three-drug cocktail: sodium thiopental to render the condemned unconscious, pancuronium bromide to paralyze the prisoner and potassium chloride to stop the heart. They can no longer get their hands on it. What do you think about the death penalty? My thoughts below

states with the death penalty

Alabama Missouri
Arizona Montana
Arkansas Nebraska
California Nevada
Colorado New Hampshire
Connecticut North Carolina
Delaware Ohio
Florida Oklahoma
Georgia Oregon
Idaho Pennsylvania
Indiana South Carolina
Kansas South Dakota
Kentucky Tennessee
Louisiana Texas
Maryland Utah
Mississippi Virginia
Washington
Wyoming

States now without the death penalty

Alaska
Hawaii
Illinois
Iowa
Maine
Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
North Dakota
Rhode Island
Vermont
West Virginia

Wisconsin
Dist. of Colombia

If you read my stories in the past on this you know I have mixed feelings on the death penalty. Often times a person may be arrested and sentenced to death knowing they were innocent just to further someone's career or to quell the public. Now that we have DNA testing we are finding too often we have the wrong man. We have seen it too often

I do believe the death penalty is justified as in the case of the Fort Hood shootings and the Jared Loughner's shootings where they should be put to death immediately with no trial. They should not have a venue to plead their case. Sane or insane they did it wantonly and publicly, that is all that matters. Cases like those aside I am no longer comfortable with the death penalty being justified because of the horror of the crime because we can not be certain we have the right person unless we actually see them do it.

* The world is shocked? I am shocked! What is happening right now in America in this seeming race to put people to death without knowing if they are guilty? Politics? Once again I am sickened.

SeaWorld justified in court endangering trainers working with the likes of Tillicum the killer whale a 3 time killer

Theme parks, zoos and aquariums across the nation are casting a wary eye on a hearing in Florida as SeaWorld Orlando fights penalties it drew after a trainer was drowned by a killer whale. The Orlando Sentinel reports that SeaWorld is appealing a $75,000 fine, "but far more than a financial slap on the wrist is at stake for SeaWorld, a $1.2 billion-a-year business with namesake marine parks in Florida, California and Texas."

That particular whale has now killed three times. There is no way in hell It should still be active or SeaWorld justifying working so closely with killer whales or any wild animals. Sea world was at fault for the trainers death: Have some damn sense!

It's a frigging fish! Leave the fish alone! They should have held sea world libel for being idiots. I watched the video of her with the whale just prior and it blew me away. What the heck do they think? How did this not happen years ago? After I watched it I was livid and said to my wife that it was her fault, sea worlds fault for not knowing the nature of the beast they were working with. Her death is on their heads!

I listened to the sea world representative telling the public about the adjustments sea world implemented immediately at their three parks. I heard Jack Hannah hit the problem but not the way he should have so the problem was not addressed.

He said he was not sure what Tillicum the orca was thinking but I damn well do. In the final analysis you always want to walk in another mans shoes to experience how he thinks and feels the way he does. It is extremely critical and as you see detrimental to your well being if you do not do that with wild animals which this 12000 pound killer whale is.

Most of you fish or have fished. You know how to get them to attack your hook. Lure him, wiggle a worm in front of them and he will grab it. That was not an attack that was an orca doing what comes natural to them. I watched the tape of trainer Dawn Bronchia feeding Tillicum just before the incident. My first thought was no wonder he grabbed her pony tail, it was a tease.

I heard the spokesman say there are no plans to ban pony tails or set limits on hair length but they better put themselves in a killer whales position and revisit that decision or this is going to happen again.

Former trainer said mistake triggered orca attack It was scary watching her wave that pony tail in his face and hug him before he grabbed her. He's a frigging fish damn it! I hope at the very least they are smart enough to keep those people out of the tank with them.

They better have smartened up! Just remember what they have yet to employ, ENGAGE BRAIN! I do have to say I watched that show 10 years ago and it made me nervous. Also if a dog or anything else killed a person they put it down. I disagree with using that Orca any more and firmly believe he should be put back out to sea to fend for himself!

I should not be surprised but I do not believe SeaWorld is really sad for Dawn's death and only worried about endangering their $1.2 billion dollar profit and that banning working closely with killer whales will lead to wider bans in their parks and in other zoos and parks around the world. SeaWorld dropped the ball and there is no way people should be allowed that close and it should be allowed to justify more important profits.

The Taliban attacks to commemorate 9/11 showed the Taliban's weakness not its strength

The Taliban attacks to commemorate 9/11 showed the Taliban's weakness not its strength that is why they want to talk. We must kill the Haqqani's and go home. Pakistan refuses to battle Haqqani network That is because Pakistan has long been complicit with the Haqqani's who are the militant arm of Pakistan's Inter-service Intelligence Agency (the ISI).

The American ambassador to Afghanistan said that the Haqqani network appeared to be responsible for the assault against the United States Embassy in Kabul and nearby NATO bases. But he played down the attack as harassment rather than a major military strike. I agree! Once again main stream media is playing it wrong and creating the wrong issue. This showed the Taliban's weakness not its strength.

supposedly to commemorate 9/11 and avenge Bin Laden's death: A powerful Taliban truck bomb wounded 77 American soldiers and killed five Afghans outside a combat outpost. The attack was carried out by a Taliban suicide bomber who detonated a large bomb inside a truck carrying firewood, Nato said. 'Most of the force of the explosion was absorbed by the protective barrier at the outpost entrance,' Nato said, adding that the damage was repairable and that operations were continuing.

First I just want to reiterate the dangers of the Haqqani's and the fact that they must be eliminated as they are the driving force behind all the Taliban damage and killing in Afghanistan. They are supposedly now in Afghanistan but the ISI know where they are and being protected by or in Pakistan so they can disrupt UN efforts in Afghanistan. Remember we discussed many times the dangers of the Haqqani's?

Exclusive: Haqqanis to follow Taliban: The Haqqani network, one of the most feared insurgent groups in Afghanistan, would take part in peace talks with the Kabul government and the United States only if the Taliban did, its leader Sirajuddin Haqqani told Reuters on Saturday. The group has become so confident after battlefield gains, that it no longer has sanctuaries in Pakistan, and instead felt secure inside Afghanistan, said Sirajuddin in a rare interview, by telephone from an undisclosed location.

US Suspects Pakistan Link in Attack: U.S. officials say they are looking for evidence that directly links elements of Pakistan's powerful spy agency to this week's assault on the U.S. Embassy and coalition headquarters in Kabul, a sign of just how rancorous relations have become between the two allies in the fight against al Qaeda and the Taliban. The possibility of ISI involvement was already being considered within hours of the attack's conclusion when President Barack Obama's National Security Council met Wednesday, said a U.S. official. The official added that given the ISI's history of supporting and sheltering the Haqqanis, it was "almost reflexive" to see if the spy agency had any role in the latest Kabul violence. You don't say?

We are decimating the Haqqani's but...

With that said I just want to point out that main stream media has shown once again that they are childish, irresponsible, and in control of the message and agenda. They irresponsibly gave the Taliban the airwaves after their failure of an attack on US soldiers saying they marked the 10th anniversary of 9/11 by showing how vulnerable we are 10 years later.

I am sorry, anyone that was not trying to hype the situation and capitalize off it would have seen something totally different. The attack was a failure! A weakened Taliban tried and failed. They could not get near the soldiers and had to detonate outside of a protective barrier. 70 or 80 soldiers were injured but are back on duty. The Taliban's only success was in killing more civilians as is their goal and highlighting their weakness.

As for the so called "brazen attack" in the middle of Kabul on the US embassy. Main stream media talked it up for 3 days saying how the Taliban proved they could attack us dressed as Women wherever they wanted. That was pure BS! They took over an abandoned building and were firing RPG's and rifles from the top floor.. It was a half mile away. The Haqqani's did this too but they accomplished nothing.

Once again they showed their weakness and accomplished nothing period. They are weakened to the point they are ready to talk. No one in the Embassy was killed and no Americans were killed in another attack where they were only hoping "Allah" would let them get lucky. It is time to put more pressure on the ISI and Pakistani Government to stop protecting the Haqqani's so we can put an end to these games and go home.

As far as I am concerned Afghanistan has proven they can handle security once we eliminate the Haqqani's. The Taliban think they are getting away with something but they are being watched closely by JSOC ready to pounce and take them out when given the command. I say give it now and save lives. My guess is the command has been given because the Haqqani's have been going down en-masse. The network is important but I think "they" should take out the Haqqani's first. I wish we would quickly kill the Haqqani's, both Jalaluddin and Sirajuddin and leave the rest to Pakistan.

Israel faces its most complex diplomatic challenges in decades, Israel and the US purposely created this growing crisis

Palestinian president requests statehood: The time has come for a "Palestinian Spring," to join the Arab Spring in reshaping the Middle East, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told the U.N. General Assembly on Friday in a historic plea for support for his application for full membership in the international organization.

"My people desire to exercise their right to enjoy a normal life like the rest of humanity," Abbas said. But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, later taking his turn to address the General Assembly, said Palestinians are looking for a "state without peace" that he argued would continue to threaten his tiny nation's security. "Palestinians should first make peace with Israel, and then get their state," he said.

Palestine's Mahmoud Abbas requested full membership to the UN and an independent State side by side with Israel but you know despite the world wanting it, it will not happen because Israel and the US does not want it but want status quo including talking for eternity.

After listening to Benjamin Netanyahu talk about the 4000 year history behind his name and Israel it reinforces even more what I have said too many times and that is that there will ever be peace in the middle east, ever, as long as there are Jews, Arabs, and Persians.

Mid-East media critical of Obama UN speech

Palestinian Authority: Obama will be responsible for failure of peace process

Israel faces its most complex diplomatic challenges in decades: Even before the focus shifts to the Palestinian arena, with the bid by the Palestinian Authority to have the United Nations recognize it as a state, Israel has had to deal with the return home of senior envoys from three of the region's most important countries. So far this month, Ankara expelled Israel's ambassador to Turkey, Israel's ambassador to Egypt was forced to flee Cairo in the middle of the night amid a mob attack, and on Thursday all Israeli diplomats were evacuated from Amman due to warnings that Jordanians intended to copy the Egyptian demonstrations.

Abbas: Palestinians seek full UN membership: PLO chairman says he will hand in request to Security Council for full recognition of Palestine at the United Nations. He said that more than 120 countries have already promised to support the Palestinian bid. Abbas also mentioned US President Barack Obama's 2010 speech at the General Assembly, when he expressed hope that a Palestinian state would join the UN within the next year.

Israeli Prime Minister: Palestinian Statehood Bid Will Fail Israel blames the Palestinians, I am sick of US and Israeli crap!

US veto set to upset Palestinian UN move: The admission of new members to the United Nations is decided by the General Assembly. Normally, if a state wants to join, it presents its application to the Security Council first. If approved, the Security Council gives its recommendation to the General Assembly.Article 18 of the UN Charter states says that the final decision rests here: “Decisions of the General Assembly on important questions shall be made by a two-thirds majority of the members present and voting. These questions shall include… the admission of new members to the United Nations.”

A Veto has never been used but it is my understanding that as long as we have a 2/3 majority Palestine is in. Can somebody help me here? I am just totally sick of US and Israeli lies! What the hell is this when the US has sole authority to block the will of the world?

The US will veto Palestine's bid for statehood at the UN because they are Israel's lapdog

UN: Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 'profound and persistent deadlock: No kidding, "Israelestine only"

Israel knows they are over their head but they know they can ignore the world because they own the US. Right or wrong they have the US in their pocket!

They have the US! Israel does not care what anyone thinks period! I realized a long time ago that Israel is the world's chief war monger and we seem to do their bidding and fighting. If they get into a war with Iran who wants Israel wiped of the map we will end up coming to their rescue regardless of what they do or what anyone says and that is sad! We should in fact take care of Jewish American's and American's and our interests in Israel and otherwise tell them in no uncertain terms they are on their own if they continue to flaunt the worlds will and instigate war not peace and expecting us to come to their rescue.

I must admit Israel's hypocrisy and lies are a plan I have discussed often and I have to disagree with the assertion that says an attack on Iran's nuclear program would be counter productive. I beg to differ! The General hit the nail on the head though and does not know it. I have long asserted that Israel would attack Iran's nuclear interests and we would come to her rescue.

That is a fact that is why I find this statement troubling and prophetic. An Israeli General correctly said One strike is not practical. In order to delay the Iranian program for three to four years one needs an armada of aircraft, which only a super-power can provide. Only America can do it. Bingo! You know from numerous discussions here that Iran is involved in every Middle Eastern country not just Yemen, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia where they have corrupted elections for Shiite interests in Iraq, backing rebels in Yemen, and instigating attacks on Saudi oil fields. Bush freed Iran to instigate far and wide and they are.

Israel is not going to back down. When all is said and done they know the US will be there for them. I am sure the US plans to come to Israel's rescue and do it largely from the Gulf with numerous carrier fighter groups. When are we going to realize this entire mess I call a forever war is just beginning and this is our future. A future of war for us and profiteering for the elite!

Israel and the US will continue to flaunt Palestinian and world desires for a free Palestine and a two state solution until one way or the other what is happening in the Arab spring countries gets Iran and us openly involved. There is so much other degradation happening in the US and around the world I hate that this is happening and it is all unnecessary. We can only hope this does not turn into WW3.

Governor Perry the new Texecutioner and proud of it

Governor Perry the new Texecutioner and proud of it: Now he qualifies for President?

Supreme Court halts killer's execution in Texas: The U.S. Supreme Court Thursday halted the execution of a black man convicted of a double murder in Texas 16 years ago after his lawyers contended his sentence was unfair because of a question asked about race during his trial. Duane Buck, 48, was spared from lethal injection when the justices, without comment, said they would review an appeal in his case. Two appeals, both related to a psychologist's testimony that black people were more likely to commit violence, were before the court. One was granted. The other denied.

Death Penalty: Applause for Rick Perry’s ‘Ultimate ...: Texas Gov. Rick Perry apparently loses no sleep over authorizing 234 executions in more than a decade as Texas governor.Perry has authorized more executions than any governor in the history of the United States. He said at a Republican presidential debate Wednesday that he has never worried that the state of Texas has executed an innocent man.

Perry has now executed more than the original Texacutioner George W Bush and has no qualms about hanging an innocent man as he has already proven. That said, I am not sure how I feel about treating a person differently because his genes or color predispose him to be violent. I don't think I agree with that but...

Hell Perry already hung a known innocent man! The Texas sanctioned Willingham murder and cover up gets deeper and deeper! Please sign the petition!

Texas Executes 9/11 'Revenge Killer'

I was also going to discuss Bush who as Governor of Texas killed legally more Americans than anyone in history. I implore you to read the story at the link of who he killed and the fact that he was known as The Texacutioner It just absolutely amazed me that Bush is known as the biggest serial killer in history with the okaying of killing 154 prisoners as Governor of Texas. Cause of Death listed on their Death Certificates "Homicide" It absolutely stuns me that Bush can do this and still get an invite to speak at Notre Dame.

* Thinking about the fact that Bush killed all those people many veterans and retarded and was still the Popes friend and spoke at Notre Dame I found out why! The catechism use to teach that God had entrusted civil authorities with the power over life and death. Also the Vatican had the Death Penalty on their books until 1969! Religion and capital punishment

Those little tidbits pointed out, what is it about Texas penchant with the death penalty? Bush killed almost as many people as Perry and he was elected President and we are still suffering from that turn out with much suffering to come. I refuse to believe Governor Perry who purposely put to death an innocent man thinks God and the people are calling him to run for President. He is also the fool who wanted Texas to secede from the union. What the hell is wrong with us?

Japan's new Prime Minister rightly 'Concerned' Over Chinese Military Build-Up

Noda 'Concerned' Over Chinese Military Build-Up: Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on Wednesday voiced concern over China's military build-up and increased maritime activity near Japan, even as he emphasized the importance of ties between Asia's two largest economies. "I have concerns over the lack of transparency in (China's) reinforcement of its national defense capability as well as the acceleration of maritime activities" by Beijing, Mr. Noda said during a parliamentary session. "I expect China to play an appropriate role as a responsible member of the international community."
Japan's disputes with China over territory and wartime history have continued to strain ties between the two countries, with recent spats over disputed territorial waters in the East China Sea a major flashpoint

China calls weapons modernization drive warnings alarmist "cock-and-bull story.

China calls weapons modernization drive warnings alarmist "cock-and-bull story." We were here with the Nazi's look at the awful details

China media dismiss Pentagon: China's state news agency on Thursday condemned a Pentagon report on China's growing military might, calling its account of Beijing's weapons modernization drive an alarmist "cock-and-bull story."

China military 'closing key gaps': China is on course to build a modern military by 2020, a move that could threaten stability in the Asia-Pacific region, the Pentagon says. In its annual report on China's defense capability, the Pentagon said China had closed key technological gaps.A main aim of the military development was to prevent possible US intervention in any conflict with Taiwan, it said.

The Pentagon said that China was on track to forge a modern military by 2020, a rapid buildup that could be potentially destabilizing to the Asia-Pacific region.

This report is not very long so I hope you give it a quick read. The Pentagon gave this a pretty wide, expansive, and comprehensive look but having followed China's military actions and interests very closely for years you better believe when you get to the nitty gritty China's military prowess is not exaggerated at all but in my eye a bit jaded.

We have been here before with Hitler's "innocent" military build up. China is laying claim to all seas and Islands in Asia and wants to widen its interests. Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan's and US concerns are valid and not exaggerations but I have no idea as to how they can be addressed. Global military buildup aside we are witnessing actions to be concerned about in China's words of innocence.

It is not just the East China Sea, we have talked extensively on China's instigation in the South China Sea but remembering Japan's actions against China before and during WW2 China and that Japan was ultimately defeated China said We hope that Japan will use history as a guide, and earnestly reflect on its defense policies. I believe it is China that should slow down and remember it was the US and her allies that saved her. It is time to share not fight! China has been warning all other Asian Nations not to go after the gas, oil, and other natural resources around the Spratly's, Kurils, Senkaku, and other contested Islands and areas in the China Sea.

China just launched its first aircraft carrier a retrofitted Russian aircraft carrier and is in the process of building it's first Chinese carrier. Anyway then all Asian countries better be prepared. Remember the "incident this past spring with the 10 Chinese warships including destroyers and submarines off Okinawa? This put a new light on things to me. Look at the big picture once again.

As we discussed there have been at least three cases of groups of Chinese military ships crossing through the area of Okinawa since November 2008, first 4 ships then 6 then 8 and now 10 including destroyers and submarines. That case appeared to be the first involving surfaced submarines. The group of 10 ships, including the submarines, was observed about 90 miles (140 kilometers) southwest of Okinawa in international waters.

Two missile destroyers and three frigate ships from the same group were spotted participating in a flight exercise of carrier-based helicopters April 7-9, the Defense Ministry's Joint Staff Office said in a statement The war ships were in international waters but close to Okinawa and Japan was not notified. That area as you may know has natural resources under the ocean and islands claimed by both Nations. It is important that we stay in Okinawa as China plays a more important role in Asia and around the world as she gains strength militarily and economically as we just discussed.

*China is not a threat to Asia and beyond when all is said and done? I am afraid they are and also to our old world balance. The entire world better be concerned not just Asia.

Once again main stream media is playing it wrong and creating the wrong issue. we are seeing the Taliban's weakness not its strength.

Rabbani death endangers Taliban talks In my mind this was an attack against the Taliban and should strengthen their resolve to talk with Karzai and NATO. The people are mourning his senseless death. This should bring everyone together against the extremist killers.

I have been listening to the growing rancor between Pakistan and the US because the US has finally openly voiced that the Haqqani's are indeed the militant arm of Pakistan's inter-service intelligence agency and we will kill them one way or the other. I warned that the Haqqani's were more important than UBL in this war and killing them has to happen, will happen, and the fallout will be earth shattering.

The American ambassador to Afghanistan said on Wednesday that the Haqqani network appeared to be responsible for the assault against the United States Embassy in Kabul and nearby NATO bases. But he played down the attack as harassment rather than a major military strike. I agree! Once again main stream media is playing it wrong and creating the wrong issue. This showed the Taliban's weakness not its strength.

NATO forces thwarted a series of planned attacks in Afghanistan aimed at coinciding with the 9/11 anniversary, the head of international forces said Thursday after a deadly battle in Kabul:

"We do believe that (Taliban forces) were trying to do an attack on the anniversary of 9/11 and actually we thwarted a number of attacks," he told a teleconference with reporters at the Pentagon. Evans acknowledged that the dramatic attack was "a spectacular tactical action" but said "it didn't reach any of the government buildings, it didn't achieve any of their aims." "They did not breach any of the compounds of either the (US) embassy, ISAF, or any of the government buildings," he added. The Haqqani network!

First I just want to reiterate the dangers of the Haqqani's and the fact that they must be eliminated as they are the driving force behind all the Taliban damage and killing in Afghanistan. They are being protected in Pakistan so they can disrupt UN efforts in Afghanistan. Remember we discussed many times the dangers of the Haqqani's?

All the Taliban were killed, no one in the Embassy was killed and no Americans were killed in another attack where they were only hoping "Allah" would let them get lucky. It is time to put more pressure on the ISI and Pakistani Government to stop protecting the Haqqani's so we can put an end to these games and go home.

*As far as I am concerned Afghanistan has proven they can handle security once we eliminate the Haqqani's.

Let the chips fall where they may because admit it or not their death will be hitting Pakistan to its core.

I am excited to add some new functionality to the site

Hello AAP readers and commenter's.

I am excited to add some new functionality to the site courtesy of SendLove.to. I would be pleased to supply anyone interested in adding this helpful plugin to their site compliments of Corey. Just let me know or the info is in the link. Excellent interview with Corey and Chris

When you read a AAP article now, you will notice the names of famous people (be it politicians, movie stars, authors, etc) highlighted and dotted underlined in blue or pink. When you point to that name, you will be able to vote up or vote down that person in the context of the article. After voting them up or down, you can then comment about the person directly. These comments basically form a community around that person that grows every time their name is used article by article.

You will also see tabs with the famous person in them where you can vote up, vote down, and comment on the person as well at the bottom of the article. NOTE: This does not interfere with normal AAP commenting. As you will see, it rides right alongside of the comments. SendLove is about opinions of famous people directly. So after you comment on a AAP article, you can comment on the person.

Here’s how it works: notice how when I mention Barack Obama right here, the name turns blue? or pink? Mouse over it to check out the Quick Poll feature! With the Quick Poll, you can click to vote a person up or down, explain your reason why, and send it! You’ll also notice that Barack Obama shows up in a tab at the bottom of this article. Click on his tab to read more about him, see the opinions of others, or send him a “love” or a “not so much” there.

There is SO much more that SendLove.to does and you will see this as individuals comment more and more about a person.

I would personally like to thank Corey Brundage "a fellow Bostonian", co-founder of SendLove.to, for introducing me to, I believe, a great addition to our Voice. As with all new functions, some tweaking may be needed to get things right so please be patient. But so far so good.

Moqtada Al-Sadr says military operations will only resume if US troops in Iraq fail to pull out in time and you know they will

Moqtada Sadr suspends attacks on US forcesShia radical leader says military operations will only resume if US troops in Iraq fail to pull out in time.

Get your army ready Muqtada, we are that stupid!

In Iraq, why American troops might stay: Despite all the reasons to get out, American military officials have often sounded as though they would rather be invited to stay than given an excuse to leave. And, indeed, some defense analysts have said there are good reasons to maintain a presence, albeit reduced, in Iraq. We don’t need a large combat presence,” said Anthony Cordesman, of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. “We need Special Forces and perhaps some forces who would be effectively combat troops.”
The desire for a continued American presence as a counterweight to Iran is shared privately by some Iraqi lawmakers and Al-Maliki may be able to persuade the government to accept American “instructors” on Iraqi soil.

I was hoping we weren't this stupid but Custer's last stand redux is setting up in Iraq despite all warnings. Same thing in Afghanistan. What the hell is wrong with us? Obama May Break His Promise on Iraq Withdrawal: AP reports that the Obama Administration has offered to leave 10,000 troops in Iraq if its government so requests. Already the White House "has worked out options to keep 8,500 to 10,000 active-duty troops in Iraq to continue training security forces."

US 'offering' to keep troops in Iraq? More like begging for permission to stay: While that word "offer" has been repeatedly used by US officials named and unnamed in recent months, a better word might be "pleading." US officials insist that Iran has been expanding contacts and assistance to some Shiite militias inside the country. Here we come "Custer's last stand"

If we do stay we have long been warned and I smell a set up by the Iran leaning Shiite Government. This is a microcosm of the Custer's last stand if we stay in Iraq beyond this year that I have been warning about for years now.

What a surprise the Iranian-backed group Kataib Hezbollah that took credit for the recent killing of our 5 soldiers is one of three main Shiite militias operating in Iraq. Another as you know is Muqtqda Al Sadr's Mehdi army also backed by Iran, all are staunchly against the American military presence in Iraq and have vowed to oppose any move for U.S. troops to stay past their expected Dec. 31 departure date. What are we frigging stupid?

Iraq's fiery anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr will "escalate military resistance" and unleash his Mehdi Army militia if U.S. troops fail to leave Iraq as scheduled this year . These are not Idle threats! What are we frigging stupid or just asking for it? Are we just looking for endless war to further enrich the wealthy, the arms industry, and those bilking us for multiple millions?

If we don't leave Iraq in 2011 it will be Custer's last stand on a grand scale period: I hate to say it but that appears to be our goal, perpetual war wherever we can find it.

If you have been following my line of thought on this illegal war in Iraq you know civil war was guaranteed from day one when Bush ignored the warning and why. Many of you will agree it is coming soon and it is inevitable. The Kurd's want us there to protect their free Kurdistan which will be over when we are gone.

The Sunni want us to stay in order to protect them from Shiite violence they feel is backed by Iran. Incidentally you can bet if not now Saudi Arabia will be helping the Sunni. Well what a surprise huh?

Meanwhile right from day one of his return Muqtada Al-sadr told his people to fight the American's any way they can till we leave in 2011. I don't think that will be the result of it but knowing the army is largely Shiite I have to believe the two soldiers were doing his bidding and my worst fears about Iraq and the middle east are coming true.

I have to reiterate something I have said too many times since Bush chose to ignore all warnings of total civil war spreading throughout the entire Middle East so he could attack Iraq and straighten out the Middle East as God spoke to him and instructed him to. You know I firmly believe and have said so a million times by now that since 9/11 everything was construed to allow Bush to gain the power he needed to prosecute his new order not just in the Middle East but on the entire world! He diverted from Afghanistan to get back into the Middle East with the goal of setting up a larger safety zone for Israel and going after Iran.

Bush has created a hell on earth for Iraq that he calls liberty and success with promises to spread it throughout the entire Middle East. He has long wanted a Korea style force in Iraq to secure the peace! We were concerned because we knew that would never work in Iraq or the Middle East! Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program would be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale!

I still see a total civil war Sunni against Shiite erupting in the Middle East because Bush freed up Iran to instigate it on their end and they are. I still am concerned we will have a permanent presence in the Middle East but feel we will have to largely leave Iraq to her own demise. We will still be there but it looks like Yemen, and the Gulf of Aden will be the prime focus unless Iran gets something going between the US and Iran.

As you know, I talk about it often as I watch Bush's new Middle East (dis)order progress. He ignored Afghanistan so he could use the patriot acts powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq using the excuse of unseating Saddam so he could get in the Middle East to help Israel establish a buffer zone and establish a new middle east (dis) order or so Israel and Cheney thought. Bush at Cheney's urging made an abrupt shift in policy towards Syria, a shift that has now brought the entire Mideast region to the brink of war and chaos. Much worse than the hell on earth they created for Iraq. Did you ever read A clean Break a 2003 Executive intelligence Review that tells the truth as to our diabolical plans

That plan was put together in 1996 for Israel. They were just waiting for an idiot to come along so they could implement their plan for the Middle East. Along came the life long follower and life long alcoholic loser Georgie Bush. I wish I could say the rest is History but this is still barely beginning and just beginning to take shape. All Bush did by ignoring Afghanistan and attacking Iraq was to guarantee a loss of everything and a complete Middle East and Asian Breakdown.

He freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program. I think you can see how successful Bush and Cheney were with chaos creating Middle East Democracy program but you are barely seeing the results they created in Iran.

The goal absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take. Bush started it by attacking Iraq to get into the middle east to destabilize it and start the new middle east order the idiot said God told him to do now it will be up to Iran and Saudi Arabia at least up front fight it out whether this goes the Iranian Shiite way or the Saudi Arabian Sunni way and do not forget Israel!

Both will fail! It has long been my contention that coming to Israel's aid once they attack Iran will be our in to Iran!

What about the Kurds who want their autonomy and they do not want to share their oil fields period. Nuri Al-Maliki wants that issue resolved and it will never be. The entire middle east and north Africa and our more than century of interference and exploitation can take the blame for that too.

Bush has created a hell on earth for Iraq that he still calls liberty and success with promises to spread it throughout the entire Middle East Sunni against Shiite. Bush had long wanted a Korea style force in Iraq to secure the peace! That will never work in Iraq or the Middle East! Planting our military in the middle of the mess Bush has created out of the Middle East because of his failed Democratization program is going to be a Custer's Last Stand on a grand scale if we are still there when this breaks open! Looking at the war cabinet Obama has amassed I am going to say at this point that this is going to happen even under a President Obama. Watch out Iran!

Al Shabab defeating themselves in Somalia with help from Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jama , what is next for them?

Somalia has a new militia faction that is about the only group in the country to go against the al-Shabab and win. The Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jama - followers of Sufism or mystical Islam - are mostly volunteering students who say they have no political ambitions beyond expelling al-Shabab from the capital, one district at a time.

Killer Al Shabab is splintering: The unity that allowed the militant Islamist group Al Shabab to gain control of wide swaths of Somalia is in danger of breaking down amid widening famine and the recent loss of key bases in Mogadishu, the capital. The hunger crisis plaguing southern Somalia is hitting rural areas hardest, where the insurgents drew their greatest support

Al Shabab not famine is responsible for Somalian genocide: Somalia is in the midst of a famine, suffering from the worst drought in 60 years. 29,000 Somali children have died within the past three months, and 100,000 Somalis are expected to die in the next few weeks. The al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabab has destroyed the country, taking over much of the southern part of the country where it has imposed a strict version of Sharia law.

UN declares sixth famine zone in Somalia: Southern Somalia's Bay region is the latest region to be declared a famine zone, bringing to six the areas affected. Around 4 million Somalis – more than half of the population – are now in crisis in the drought-stricken country. The UN says 750,000 people are now at risk of death in the next four months if there is no adequate response, an increase from the July figure of 350,000. Job well done Al Shabab!

I hope you watched the video. The leader of this group of young religious fighters is a Minister for the transitional Government. I am really impressed that there is a group of fighters dedicated to defeating Al Shabab and they are. That is the main reason why Al Shabab has admitted defeat and largely left. The young leader is their religious leader and very religious always taking time out to pray. He vows to disband when Al Shabab is defeated.

A leader from the Somali militant group al-Shabab says the group will pursue a guerrilla strategy like that seen in Afghanistan after their withdrawal from the capital and yes they did split but...

You better be very concerned that they did split and some are not headed to Yemen where they have a chance to raise hell and make a difference. The Government is now occupying Al Shabab bases and touting it as a victory. They better be very concerned. Remember it is easier to attack than to defend.

We are watching many countries in the Middle East erupt all at the same time and I am a bit perplexed at the warped amount of attention and coverage given. Syria is being given a lot of attention and Yemen not so much even now that it is openly erupting. I have to believe that is because Syria is Israel and Iran's neighbor. A democracy movement right there is no threat to Israel but it is to Iran.

However Syria is Sunni and Iran Shiite so you may think their interference in helping Syria kill civilians and quell the Democracy movement perplexing. There has been a proxy war being fought in Yemen for quite a while now and Iran has been in the forefront of it. What is happening in Yemen is of utmost importance to Iran, us, and the world.

With our air raids in the East, civil war looming in the north, pro-independence protests in the south and al-Qaeda in the background " background? where is Anwar Al- Awlaki?" threatening a wave of attacks on America, Yemen is today’s war. To top it off Yemen is running out of water! There is more Al Qaeda there than in Afghanistan, why are we in Afghanistan and not Yemen?

Al Qaeda has always been in Yemen but it has now become Al Qaeda central. Their principle targets are Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the US, allies and allies in this so called war on terror.

The Saudi and Yemen branches of Al Qaeda have joined forces and many outsiders are moving in to join the fight. We must act in kind! Yemen is on the verge of being a failed state as you already know. Yemen is on the Abyss and we must help them for own good! What to do? They have been dealing with terrorism and insurgencies for years! They are not a failed state but well on their way and may be tomorrow! Their attention has been on survival as a country.

As many of you know by now my prime concern in Yemen was the interference by Iran in trying to get Shiite dominance there. Bush freed Iran up to pursue her version of new middle East order by interfering wherever she could while Bush was doing the same thing with his Middle East Democratization program.

The goal now absolutely is to be the country who decides which direction the new Middle East (dis)order will take.

In Yemen once again the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is the instigator. They are ferrying weapons through Eritrea to Yemen. They are now avoiding the Arabian Peninsula as Saudi Arabia has instituted a blockade along the coast of Yemen. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has also transported Lebanese Hezbollah fighters to fight with the rebels.

As you know, Saudi Arabia is also there fighting the Iranian backed Houthi rebels. So far there has been no direct confrontation. However I absolutely see what I have been warning about since Bush diverted from Afghanistan to attack Iraq and get back in the middle east to create a new middle east (dis)order! This is going to be total middle east war for a new middle east order like it or not, Sunni against Shiite.

It is looking like Yemen is going to be the first country down! The Middle East is right to be concerned. Yemen is going through severe domestic turmoil due to the violent activities of Al Qaeda, Houthi rebels in the north and the Southern Movement in the south. The remaining Jews are threatened with slaughter by the Shiite. How much longer can Yemen hold on? What is next?

Al Shabab in Somalia and Al Qaeda in Yemen are both reinforced by those fleeing the fight in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Somalia is a failed State and Yemen is rapidly headed towards being a failed State. They are perfect havens for Al Qaeda to set up new training camps in lawless regions.

Yemeni Al Qaeda previously sent arms and help to Al Shabab in their fight in Somalia. Al Shabab is reciprocating sending fighters to Yemen to help Yemeni Al Qaeda. Supposedly the so called experts say the three forces operating to destabilize Yemen from the North, South, and East will not join forces but you bet they will! Al Qaeda has been leaving Iraq, Afghanistan, and Mauritania; to use Yemen as their new base we in turn better meet them there with some kind of force. This entire so called terrorism war is barely beginning. This is not a war to end all wars but the war of all wars!

Be very concerned about what is happening in Yemen, Somalia, and the Gulf of Aden, the new front in the so called war on terror! Remember, it is better to attack than defend and Al Shabab can now go back on the attack in Mogadishu but knowing they did great damage to their reputation by starving Somali women and children a betting man would believe they left a skeleton crew in Somalia and the bulk are headed to Yemen to join the fight. I would be watching the Gulf of Aden and other countries where they may be going to get to Yemen.

War on the middle class, the middle class squeeze, is the middle class unraveling? Wake up will you before it is too late

I saw a post the other day on the fact that the Republicans have the goal of destroying the the middle class, elderly, and ailing. Some that hear that I am sure would say that was a bit hard because they are trying to save the country. They are not trying to save the country, they are trying to get Bush's version back on track. They will say and do anything to achieve that.

I remember when then President Bush wanted to revamp Social Security but due to outrage he could not. I remember when Mitt Romney was stumping for McCain when he was running for President against Obama and I was horrified when he told the audience the Democratic party was the countries biggest enemy because we tried to take care of the poor, sick, and elderly.

Romney said Social Security had to be ended. Social Security is making money still, it is not our problem. The Republican party wanting to put an end to our version of America is our problem. The fact that the gap between the wealthy and and those barely making it continues to widen. That is the goal my friends and has been since Bush.

There is no surprise here. Only by me that after all these years people still do not get what is going on. It will be horrible if the Republicans can lie and play enough fools to get back in control to finish us and Bush's agenda off and get their new version of America back on track. I first put this together in 2003 figuring people would see the obvious, get the word out, and act on it. The situation is getting grave people if you have not noticed.

A little reciting and hopefully enlightenment: Bush was following what I know as the Russian Doctrine of Destruction used in the 19th century to tear down the old Government and order and replace it with a new version. Please read this! It is very important and you now know right on: Bush's Forever War! Experts think they found a way around Bush's mess. I'm sick of saying it, Bush pundits won't be stopped and failure to us is total success for them! Before you go on remember Bush destroyed America and world order completely and flew away proud of what he did. Okay please continue and remember this was under Bush.

I had an interesting series of conversations  I would like to continue as I realized that after checking out a couple stories from supposedly enlightened sources that the supposed experts, the supposed enlightened, and people around the world not just in America do not get it. It is sickening to continue to hear it but those being credited with Political enlightenment do not get the fact that it doesn't matter. Only the all powerful Decider matters and he will not alter his course regardless. A report was issued saying the war on terror is being lost. They do not get it either. It is working. It is all a success for Bush. He needed the terrorist. He did not  want to wipe them out. They were his excuse to continue his Forever Wars.

First I was sent a supposed enlightened article or thought process. Matt Stoller, one of the most significant emerging leaders of the new political left in this country, has just written a fascinating essay that I think is a real breakthrough in his thinking and hopefully in the strategic thinking of the netroots crowd in general. It might be a breakthrough in thought process but it is worthless against Bush and it better be realized.

Stoller's piece is called smart Trotsky. I mean this as a compliment to Stoller who is trying to weave together the incongruities of passion, earnestness, and purity of motive on the left with a shrewder, calculating, appreciation of domino effects on the political right. The essay is cerebral and cites a comment I made recently and have been making from time to time: "one of the characteristics of modern global politics is how organized minority factions are able to overwhelm majority views." It is frigging worthless, that should have been known for years now.

If Bill Richardson is right and most Americans think that the war in Iraq is against their interests and want the troops to come home, then it's clear that our political structure and the influence of a well-organized minority have been able to shrug off this strong public opinion. People do not get it, majority views, minority views, public opinion, none of it matters. Bush was irresponsibly given to much power to abuse and hedid npow It is Obama's turn.

In this article we hear voiced what we all know and talk about often. The drive to war against Iran is beset by changing rationales. Like the war in Iraq, the administration is trying to find the rationale that sells best. Where is the alternative explanation? There is none. Attacking Iran is one reason Bush attacked Iraq and no one will keep that from happening. On warrant-less wiretapping and other erosion's of civil rights, Democrats react. Why don't they create an alternative catch phrase. Some occasionally (actually rarely) use a term, like the War on the Middle Class. Why not actively promote it and use it with every crisis as further evidence? Why not use every instance of privacy violation as further evidence of Bush's War on Dissent?

And why not actively promote the wars in the Middle East as Oil Wars? Yes, such a term may not capture the full complexity of the situation, but Republican "issues" are effective and they are usually mere caricatures of real issues. And why not try to delegitimize the Israeli lobby and its supporters by labeling them tools of Sheldon Adelson, Bibi Netanyahu, and Likud, none of whom really serve Israel's long term interests? A supposed NetRoots Breakthrough

It isn't all about oil. That is a small part of it. I'm sorry but after years of trying to wake people up as to what Bush is doing and why, I can only laugh. I have 7 unpublished books documenting every single misstep. I hate to tell you and them but Stoller and Steve are pretty slow on the uptake. It was obvious to an idiot what has been going on from the start and they still do not have it. I was listening to Pelosi  talking about being confused why Bush can't see the effect he is having on the middle class when he was President.

Of course he did! He had been purposely changing our societal order from day one.Republicans want to continue that elitist society as you must notice in their actions.  Have you read Bush uncovered on my main page? Bush did not fail in the war on terror. To him it was a qualified success. It has to be kept alive for his new world order Forever Wars so it was a complete success to him. Now it is Obama's. He needs to embroil the entire world and he will. If you read Bush Uncovered which I wrote 7 years ago (that's 2003 folks) but no one gets it, Bush was following the Russian Doctrine of Destruction and must create war and disorder to replace it with his new idea of order.I have been trying to wake people up since day one but no one is listening or getting it. I am afraid it is too late as much beyond our control has been set into play around the world and in the United States. Despite the advent of Obama nothing seems to have changed for whatever reason.

No one seems to get it but all the waking up and organizing against Bush in the world was worthless because he was given too much power as a result of 9/11 and the Patriot Act and now the power is in Obama's hands. The entire world will be engulfed in Bush's Forever War as planned from day one.

The dangers of shale oil and oil sand will be ignored as we destroy man and the planet

First a reminder: Friday, October 08, 2010
Avatar Director James Cameron Tours Tar Sands; Calls for Halt to destroying Canada for oil but no one can stop the self destruction of man
If you were to choose a route through which to move toxic, highly corrosive, sludgy crude oil, would you place it on the same narrow corridor used by one of the world's most endangered birds? The Canadian energy company TransCanada did and the Obama administration is on the verge of approving that absurd proposal.

That said I agree and disagree with Cameron primarily because there is no way in hell I see any search for oil regardless of how destructive it is coming to a halt. Tar sands oil is the dirtiest oil on earth. It requires clear cutting ancient forest, digging up the dirt, and using massive amounts of water and energy to extract oil from it.

The process leaves behind giant toxic lakes and has been linked to cancer in nearby communities. The proposed 2,000 mile Keystone XL pipeline would carry tar sands oil across major sources of drinking water and farmland in the United States.

Avatar Director James Cameron Tours Tar Sands; Calls for Halt to Project

I first wrote about Canada's oil sand and our massive amounts of shale oil 5 years ago when conventional oil source were getting increasingly scarce, expensive, and in jeopardy. I was unaware that we had more oil reserves than the entire world combined and have been mining and trying to find economical ways to convert it to usable oil since the 19th century. Under Bush that research was secretly stepped up while we were off war mongering in all the worlds oil areas.

What a coincidence huh? Look at this please!

As you look around the world and notice Bush and now Obama screwed with every oil producing Nation on earth you have to wonder why he was not concerned with gumming up the world's oils supply including ours or so most think! A war in the middle east including the Gulf would keep oil from flowing even to America especially if it's nuclear right, wrong!

I wrote this because oil was sky rocketing. You would laugh because oil was at $105 per Barrel and moving rapidly largely because of Bush was at $117 per Barrel and racing skyward. Thus I felt compelled once again to discuss this. Opec is right it is not their fault. They are supplying plenty. The bottle neck is ours and on purpose to keep the price inflated and that is the refineries. The deflating dollar doesn't help either.

Remember when the idiot was in Saudi Arabia trying to blame our worsening condition on them. Absolutely 100% everything is his fault. Oil alone was $28 per Barrel when he started. Then because of that idiots war mongering and mismanagement of his oil friends and everything else it was $105 and like everything else will get a lot worse. look at the list of Opec countries and think about his interference.

oil producing Nations Bush screwed with

You want to wonder why we are still preparing to block the worlds largest oil producing region with a war in the entire middle east until you remember something Bush initiated in 2005 while telling no one and I have gotten many investment offers on it. I was a bit surprised to find out the following on Shale oil!

A headline on an old newspaper reads: Oil Shale Development Imminent,". That edition of the defunct Grand Junction News, was published at the dawn of the 20th century. More than a hundred years later, instability is roiling world oil markets and shale oil and oil sand fever is again rising. Our shale oil is in the geologic region known as the Piceance Basin, part of the Green River Formation that stretches across the rugged plains of northwestern Colorado and parts of Wyoming and Utah.

There is no dispute that a thousand feet below the isolated ranch country here on Colorado's western slope lie almost unimaginable oil riches. It's locked in sedimentary rock -- essentially immature oil that given a few million years under heat and pressure would produce pools of oil easy to extract. Canada is pristine to Canadians and that area is pristine to me but we do not matter only corporations, industry, and Government.

The Energy Department and private industry estimate that a trillion barrels are here in Colorado -- about the same amount as the entire world's known reserves of conventional oil. The entire Green River Formation might hold as much as 2 trillion barrels.

supposedly secretly pushed by the Bush administration and legislation from Congress , and still ongoing under Obama, the energy industry is mobilizing to unlock the secret of oil shale. As it has before, shale oil holds out the hope of a USA no longer dependent on foreign oil. Shell Oil is engaged in a multiyear test of a new technology for extracting the oil. Previous efforts that were uneconomical and environmentally destructive entailed mining the rock, crushing it and heating it above ground to release the oil.

Shell's new process involves sinking heaters deep underground, cooking the rock at 700 degrees and recovering the oil and natural gas with conventional drilling. For a decade, Shell has been ramping up its research on private property here. It is also one of a handful of companies vying for research and development leases on larger tracts of federal land nearby. That could lead to full-scale development across 1,200 square miles of western Colorado.

Early results are promising, says Terry O'Connor, a vice president in the oil giant's unconventional resource division. But, he admits, "no one has been able to develop oil shale on a commercially sustainable basis.

Back to Canada: Legendary oilman T Boone Pickens said years ago he doesn't believe that the oil sands are an effective substitute for our fuel needs. Pickens said that huge development costs and a tight labor supply will prevent the Alberta oil sands and other unconventional means of production from covering the shortfall in supply. That said, Pickens holds a big stake in both the Canadian Oil Sands Trust [TSX:COS.UN] and Suncor Energy.

When Pickens was in the Alberta oil sand fields in the 60's somebody said this isn't going to work, it isn't possible. It'll all have to be subsidized to a level, said, before they'd make money you'd have to have $5 oil," Pickens says laughing. "We never thought it would happen."

Two years ago I did a story on shale oil and oil sand but it did not go over well because people felt it would never happen. Knowing all the research and development that has been put into these alternatives!

Knowing that T Boone Pickens had invested multiple millions in this! Knowing that between us and Canada we have the more reserves than the entire world combined!

Knowing that he said refining it would not be profitable until fuel hit $5 per gallon, you have to believe that $5 gas will be here before you know it, Canada, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado be damned, they are going to destroy what they have to in order to keep the oil flowing any way they can. Good luck James Cameron! Shale oil and oil sand

Report: Cancer Rates Could Rise 50 Percent by 2020: You don't think that's our fault?

Global rates of cancer could rise 50 percent to 15 million new cases a year by 2020, but one-third can be cured and another third prevented by curbing infections and through lifestyle changes, experts said on Thursday.

Since I became aware of the fact that we are in every regard living a total lie it just amazes me the bull shit excuses and lies we accept as truth just to keep us placated. This is no exception. You have to be kidding me. We are supposed to fall for the BS that one third of the new cases of cancer can be prevented by curbing infections and changing our lifestyle's.

Just what does an infection have to do with getting cancer? Someone please tell me. Sure the level of obesity I see today really worries me and a lifestyle change in the regard of eating right and getting some activity going in many sedimentary lives is critical to preventing numerous ailments but cancer may be one of the but the least of them.

Yes I do agree 100% that we are responsible for most of the increase in curable and incurable diseases but they are due to our all encompassing level and types of pollution. Air pollution, water pollution, ground pollution, acid rain, all are problems due to the normal suspects but it is the role nuclear assets particularly was plays in out environmental and life problems that concerns me most of all and it is never mentioned. Remember this?

Global nuclear cover-up: Depleted Uranium, Gulf war Syndrome, Increased Autism, Diabetes, Cancer!

I was watching a program about a scientist who did a fraudulent study on Autism being attributed to flu vaccine and thought I should get the truth out on this once more: Global nuclear cover-up, Depleted uranium, Gulf war Syndrome, increased Autism Diabetes Cancer, they won't admit it but Now you know why! Leuren Moret is a whistle blower from the Livermore Lab. In her presentations she exposes shocking and highly suppressed facts about our Government poisoning is with radiation right at this very moment.

Leuren documents every statement she makes with research documents many of which are actual Government Data to draw their conclusions. Did you know that diabetes, Autism, and other forms of mental illness are caused by exposure on nuclear radiation. No wonder Diabetes and Autism are on the upswing and supposedly no one knows why. You have to believe they do not want you to know the truth here too.
watch the video of Lauren speaking the truth about the nuclear cover up

From nuclear testing we have switched to nuclear power plants that are causing increasingly high rates of cancer, birth defects, and literally an epidemic of diabetes. I have heard it mentioned here before that we have used weapons containing depleted Uranium and didn't really think too much about it because I really wasn't sure.

However watching this video totally documented that depleted uranium has not only turned Iraq and Afghanistan into uninhabitable nuclear holocaust for millions of years. Remember the Gulf war Syndrome? Depleted uranium was also used at Tora Bora. I was not aware of that! Cancer among soldiers is rampant!

We are giving our soldiers a death sentence. Why are we not testing our soldiers? You know why! Anyway it is also blowing over the rest of the planet causing Americans, Europeans, and others to die from radiation diseases.

Remember Chernobyl? That too is affecting all of us as it only takes one year to mix globally. This is all something our Governments do not want us to know. I was really surprised to hear the Queen has a great financial interest in Uranium mines around the world. I was blown away to hear that there were 2 million new cases of Diabetes around the world in one year.

It is not just Britain and the U.S. that do not want the truth known, there is a Global Conspiracy on the issue because other governments are also involved in nuclear programs and they don't want their citizens to know the real reasons why their children are being born with severe anomalies and why the diabetes rates are soaring worldwide. This is just amazing! Watch the video and the cities around the world that are least affected will blow you away. Washington DC is the lowest in the country. What a surprise.

This all amazes me in light of the Manifesto to the World I wrote detailing what is happening and why, and what we will do to the planet someone has to be able to live and be sustained on, and hearing routinely the rattles of war threatening to make things even worse!
