What happened to McCain saying no " personal attacks" and will keep his lying campaign against Obama clean? yesterday's ad was too much!

Yesterday our friend Robert Rouse posted a Hitler Quote that said it all about what is being done to us by Bush and what McCain is doing to Obama! “All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach."

I realize that Rove is working hand in hand behind the scenes with McCain instructing him how to undermine Obama's credibility with manufactured lies. Yesterdays ad comparing Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and mocking him was way over the line. Goebbels all over! We are getting the divide and conquer crap all over again and I fear it will work once again as many just do not get it.

Check this out: McCain as you know is doing his damnedest per advice of Bush and Rove to scare the people about Obama. It is getting bad even by the Right's low life standards and I am afraid many are falling for it despite hearing the truth from Obama because they are told by supposedly honorable people not to believe the truth! Barack Obama has been compared to prominent political figures such as President John F. Kennedy, but opponent John McCain’s campaign on Tuesday tried to portray him as an arrogant Hollywood diva, who doesn’t have the credibility to be commander in chief. “Barack Obama is the biggest celebrity in the world, comparable to Tom Cruise, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton,” Rick Davis, Sen. John McCain’s campaign manager, wrote in an e-mail addressed to interested parties after throwing out a similar line on a conference call with reporters.

“Only celebrities like Barack Obama go to the gym three times a day, demand “MET-RX chocolate roasted-peanut protein bars and bottles of a hard-to-find organic brew — Black Forest Berry Honest Tea” and worry about the price of arugula,” Davis said. Davis was riffing off news coverage that the Illinois senator told congressional Democrats Monday that he has become the “symbol” for the world’s aspirations for America, and that the country is now at “the moment … that the world is waiting for.” Obama’s supporters said the comments were not about him, per se, but about the world’s view that the U.S. could be returning to the global community after years of ostracism following the war in Iraq. “Only a celebrity of Barack Obama’s magnitude could attract 200,000 fans in Berlin who gathered for the mere opportunity to be in his presence. These are not supporters or even voters, but fans fawning over The One,” Davis wrote. “Like most worldwide celebrities, this status has fueled a certain arrogance.”

The attempts to paint Obama as a diva followed comments by conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, who on Monday compared the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee and his wife’s fame to that of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. “You couldn’t pass a grocery store line this weekend without seeing the picture-perfect smiles of the Obama family,” she wrote in a piece distributed by Republicans on Wednesday. “There were Barack Obama’s young daughters (whose privacy their parents so sanctimoniously claim to want to protect) flashing their pearly whites on the cover of People magazine. Malia and Sasha competed for attention right next to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s toddler daughter, Shiloh, whose cherubic face was splashed on the cover of another celebrity tabloid.” For his own part, Obama on Wednesday compared himself to western legend Wild Bill Hickock while talking in Springfield, Mo., about taking on John McCain on taxes. McCain compares Obama to Hollywood Diva's

Obama thinks he can just dismiss this crap as bunk! White House hopeful Barack Obama has hit back over a TV ad which questions his readiness to lead the US. Republican John McCain's campaign released the ad, which juxtaposes images of Mr Obama with those of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Titled "Celeb", the ad calls Mr Obama the "biggest celebrity in the world", but questions his economic policies. The Democrat responded by accusing his rival of negative campaigning, and of only revealing what he was against. "You need to ask John McCain what he's for, not just what he's against," Mr Obama said while on the campaign trail in Missouri.

The ad shows images of the Illinois senator speaking to a 200,000-strong crowd in Berlin last week, interspersed with shots of celebrities Spears and Hilton. The ad, set to be broadcast in nearly a dozen key states, was followed by a rival ad from Mr Obama's own campaign team. It accuses Mr McCain of practicing the "policies of the past", and uses images of him with President George W Bush. Mr Obama's chief strategist, David Axelrod, told MSNBC the McCain ad was "baloney". "I am going to paraphrase, oops he did it again," he said, playing off the title of a Britney Spears song and album. "This is not the John McCain we expected." The Republicans have been keen to stress their belief that Mr Obama is not tested, not ready to lead and too out of touch with the public. please watch the asinine ad and Obama's response

* I am sick of this crap! McCain says he want negative because Obama did it first! What an ignorant lying child! Obama merely telling the truth so people know the difference. He is not creating an illusion a lie many will believe. Obama has become a celebrity. The entire world recognizes America needs Obama if we and the world are to have a future. Obama must start being more aggressive in countering these lies or we are in serious trouble.

I have been writing about the homeless getting worse for years now Bush says it is down 30% WTF? What are we stupid? I'm sick of the Lying!

Homeless in America! Poverty and Tragedy a National Disgrace!

Homelessness in our own Backyard!

I am so sick of the lying the fact manipulation by these scum running the country! I have written so many stories about Homeless dumping by hospitals that is still going on. Stories of increasing homelessness of our veterans that is now around 25% of the total homeless. I did a post on cities San Diego in particular opening public lots and guarding them so those increasingly losing their homes can at least have a safe place to sleep in their cars that they increasingly can't afford gas for. I just did a story on home foreclosures being up 121% nation wide from a year ago and 330% here in Massachusetts. Where are those people going? This is just the beginning as these people most often cannot afford health care and are increasingly faced with food kitchens closed because they have no food are there are too many to feed. THIS REALLY IRKS ME!

* It really blew me away knowing this is all just beginning and will get much worse and I friggen hear this morning that homelessness is down wide 30% WTF? this BS report states The number of chronically homeless people living in the nation’s streets and shelters has dropped by about 30 percent — from 175,914 to 123,833 — from 2005 to 2007, Bush administration officials said on Tuesday. According to records there are 38,000 in New York on any given night alone. According to The National Coalition For The Homeless, "there are between 30,000 and 7,000,000 homeless people in America." That is one hell of a difference.

Housing officials say the statistics, which are collected annually from more than 3,800 cities and counties, may reflect better data collection and some variation in the number of communities reporting. But officials also attribute much of the decline to a policy shift promoted by Congress and the administration that has focused federal and local resources on finding stable housing for homeless people suffering from drug addiction, mental illness or physical disabilities, long deemed the hardest to help in the homeless population. U.S. Reports Drop in Homeless Population

* What a friggen lie! I am sick of these scum getting away with these manipulated lies! The Department of Housing and Urban Development collects the statistics as part of its Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress. Nationally, the total number of homeless people counted on a single night in January — the measure used to count homeless families on the streets and in shelters — dropped to 666,295 in 2007, from 754,147 in 2005. The report said that 1.6 million people spent time in homeless shelters between Oct. 1, 2006 and Sept. 30, 2007. Seventy percent of those people were individuals; the rest were families with children. About 13 percent of all homeless adults living in shelters were veterans.

Dennis P. Culhane, a professor of social policy at the University of Pennsylvania and an author of this year’s report, acknowledged that “a lot of people in tough housing situations don’t get counted.” Mr. Culhane said the government needed a standard measure and counted only people living in shelters or on the street. Mr. Culhane attributed much of the decline in chronic homelessness to the efforts of Congress, administration officials and local communities. What a friggen lie! They changed the way they count the homeless!

areal study shows About 3.5 million US residents (about 1% of the population), including 1.35 million children, have been homeless for a significant period of time. Over 37,000 homeless individuals (including 16,000 children) stay in shelters in New York every night. This information was gathered by the Urban Institute, but actual numbers might be higher.

There is still no accurate information on the number of homeless people in the US. Several different models for the evaluation of the scale of homelessness exist. One approach measures the number of people without a roof over their head on a certain day or week. Another approach measures the number of the homeless over a certain period of time. The first method provides an “instant picture” of homelessness, but does little to differentiate between temporary and chronic homelessness. This method does not separate individuals who became homeless as a result of job loss, domestic abuse or housing shortage. The percent of chronic homelessness is overestimate in an “instant picture” approach.

* Man I am so sick of this what do you want to see I will find a way to back up the lies, way of doing things today. I am so sick of living a lie!!!!

another timely terrorist warning as Iran reiterates we are going down. Nothing has or will change regardless of who is elected but...

Expecting a terrorist attack! What a coincidence just in time to affect the election! Will we even have it?

Now we are led to believe Bush is changing his tune with Iran. Bush is changing nothing with Iran! The chief lying war monger wants a peace legacy while Iran guarantees our demise as cooperation is emphasized! What?
Bush has changed nothing with Iran!! He didn't change anything! Someone was sent to listen in Switzerland but there was no conversation between them and nothing will change. It is just another facade of cooperation and concern, Have you noticed that as the world and the country increasingly fall behind Obama Bush is changing to what he is exhorting but only to continue this charade of Diplomacy until war can be started. That is the only goal and it will not be avoided. Two days ago I posted on the secret meeting Congress held in March to discuss declaring martial Law if things get worse as they are every day and they will get much worse. This entire manufactured perfect storm of financial collapse and war is soon to come to a head and no one will stop it.

I will not stop but no one will stop this and I am very annoyed that no one of consequence sees the brevity of our situation or what is really happening here. The other day I posted about the fact that Bush had the Taliban in Crawford and was meeting with them in Washington as he wanted their permission in creating a pipeline through Afghanistan. When the deal was nixed 10 days later 9/11 "suddenly" happened and Afghanistan was attacked. This is all about oil (Cheney, Bush, Rice, and others) running the white House and the country. Iran announced yesterday that they now have 6,000 centrifuges. Whether they do or not Iran will be attacked by Israel or us but this forever war will progress. I am very peeved to see our own Government purposely bringing this about and those with the connections to make a difference are not.

Despite the BS that Bush is trying to be more diplomatic with Iran as the idiot should have been from the start. His in your face my way or the highway do what I say or else so called "Diplomacy" has already set events in motion in Iran and around the world that will proceed regardless of who our President is! As he has in the past Iran's president on Tuesday blamed the U.S. and other "big powers" for nuclear proliferation, AIDS and other global ills, and accused them of exploiting the U.N. and other organizations for their own gain and the developing world's loss.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, time was on the poor countries' side. "The big powers are going down," Ahmadinejad told foreign ministers of the Nonaligned Movement meeting in Tehran. "They have come to the end of their power, and the world is on the verge of entering a new, promising era." The more than 100-member NAM is made up of such diverse members as communist Cuba, Jamaica and India and depicts itself as bloc-free. But most members share a critical view of the U.S and the developed world in general. And with Iran assuming the chairmanship of the conference Tuesday, Ahmadinejad's keynote speech was tailored to reflect the struggle that some NAM members see themselves in against the world's rich and powerful countries. A draft of the final document that ministers will be asked to approve, made available to The Associated Press as the conference opened Tuesday, reflected that struggle.

"The rich and powerful countries continue to exercise an inordinate influence in determining the nature and direction of international relations, including economic and trade relations, as well as rules governing these relations, many of which are at the expense of developing countries," it said. NAM countries oppose "unilaterally imposed measures by certain states ... the use and threat of use of force, and pressure and coercive measures as a means to achieving their national policy objectives," said the draft. That appeared to be an indirect slap at the United States, which has refused to rule out force as a possible means of last resort against Iran unless it heeds U.N. Security Council demands to curb its nuclear activities. The draft also condemns "the categorization of countries as good or evil based on unilateral and unjustified criteria" -- oblique criticism of President Bush's labeling of Iran as part of an "axis of evil" along with Saddam Hussein's Iraq and North Korea.Ahmadinejad reiterates we are going down

I have to agree we are and Bush is responsible for it! Not just what he has done around the world that scum but the destruction of our societal order and our financial collapse! I have to say that the only benefit of an Obama Presidency will be that he would not be the sole decider and he would take care of we the people and our America. With that said as I have said in the past we will eventually be facing Iran, Russia, China, the non aligned Nations and everyone else Bush has wronged regardless of who the President is. We are screwed if Bush declares martial law, steals McCain in, or succeeds in setting the stage for him as he is as Homeland security warns of increased terrorist threats in time to benefit McAssWipe

First a great Political joke then read and watch send KKK Rove to jail and an attempt at citizens arrest by Iowan's at a Rove fundraiser. Yippee hope!

You need a laugh so first the hilarious perfect political joke for today!

While walking down the street one day a US senator is tragically hit by a truck and dies.
His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entranc
e.
“Welcome to heaven,” says St. Peter. “Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we’re not sure what to do with you.”
“No problem, just let me in,” says the man.

“Well, I’d like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we’ll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.”

“Really, I’ve made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,” says the senator.

“I’m sorry, but we have our rules.”

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises…

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter
is waiting for him.

“Now it’s time to visit heaven.”

So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

“Well, then, you’ve spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.”
The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: “Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.”

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.
Now the doors of the elevator open and he’s in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder.

“I don’t understand,” stammers the senator. “Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there’s just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?”

The devil looks at him, smiles and says,“Yesterday we were campaigning…… Today you voted.”
* Funny as Hell!

Watch about arresting KKK Rove!

Karl Rove has made a career out of distorting facts to destroy political rivals. In the case of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, he went even further: he deliberately put a political opponent in prison based on trumped up charges.

The GOP couldn’t beat the most successful Democratic politician in recent Alabama history at the ballot box. So instead, at Karl Rove’s direction, the Bush Justice Department used U.S. attorneys to cook up a false criminal case against Siegelman in order to hand the Governor’s Mansion over to the Republican Party.

It’s no surprise that Karl Rove puts politics before due process, democracy and civil rights. That’s why even when faced with a subpoena from Congress, Rove has refused to testify. Unlike Don Siegelman, Karl Rove is breaking the law. Rove believes that he is not only above the law, but that he controls it. He’s wrong. Check out Send Karl Rove to Jail, and sign our petition to ensure that the House Judiciary Committee holds Rove in contempt.

It was actually already attempted by citizens in Iowa and Des Moines police arrested four people Friday who attempted a citizen's arrest of former White House adviser Karl Rove. Rove was in Des Moines to speak at a fundraiser. A news release says a retired minister and three members of the Des Moines Catholic Workers community were cited for trespassing and released. The four accused Rove of election fraud and conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud the United States in the time before the Iraq war. The arrest complaint also says they accused Rove of treason, sedition and subversive activities for fraudulent acts leading to the deaths of 300,000 Iraqi civilians and 4,000 U.S. Military personnel. Kirk Brown and Mona Shaw, two of the four arrested Friday, attempted a similar arrest last March when Rove spoke at the University of Iowa. attempted citizens arrest of Rove

* I understand this has already been attempted on John Bolton and Condi Rice. I do not see any of them ever being held accountable but like the WW2 Nazi's I am having increasing hope that people will wake up some day and hold the perpetrators of this still just developing nightmare even though it will come too late to affect the outcome!

from the For what it is worth Department:: Iraq war veteran takes on McCain in new Ad while McCain now agrees with Obama what?

Iraq war Vet takes on Obama in new Ad!

For what it is worth I have been getting conflicting feed back today as usual and after a great conversation with our friend Brother Tim atBlog of Revelation and my usual line that we are living a lie and this manufactured mess will soo0n get a lot worse as you may have read yesterday resulting in a planned Declaration of Martial Law, I now have to put this and the election in the "For what it is worth" category.

As you may have watched The independent group, VoteVets, will begin running a new television ad this week that features an Iraq war veteran who asserts that if elected, Senator John McCain “would occupy Iraq indefinitely,” against the wishes of the Iraqi people. The veteran, Brandon Woods of New York, says in the ad: “What did we fight for in Iraq? I have some idea. I fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom. And ‘freedom’ means when the Iraqi people and their Prime Minister ask us to make a plan to leave, we do.” In a statement the chairman of VoteVets, Jon Soltz – also an Iraq war veteran – noted that Mr. McCain once said that the United States should pull troops out of Iraq if asked to do so by the Iraqis.

“Senator McCain now either has to back off his refusal to set a plan to leave Iraq, as Prime Minister Maliki requested, or tell the American and Iraqi people why he would overrule Iraq’s government and make our troops into an indefinite occupying force,” Mr. Soltz said. He also expressed support for Senator Barack Obama’s plan to redeploy troops from Iraq to Afghanistan. The 30-second spot will go on the air across the country on CNN and MSNBC starting on Friday through most of next week. The group is spending $100,000 to broadcast the ads.

* Responding to the ad, Republican National Committee spokesman Alex Conant released the following statement: “Barack Obama voted against funding for the very troops this ad claims to represent. By continuing to oppose the surge strategy and rejecting the advice of General David Petraeus, Obama is putting political expedience ahead of victory,” Mr. Conant said. “Rather than attacking John McCain for listening to General Petraeus, this group should ask why Obama lacked the strength to stand up for our troops during a time of war.” And the independent group, Vets for Freedom, which has mounted a $1.5 million advertising and grassroots campaign making the case for a continued American troop presence in Iraq, also directed criticism today at Mr. Obama, who has been on an overseas tour of Iraq, Afghanistan, the Middle East and Europe. Vets for Freedom Chairman Pete Hegseth said in a statement that Mr. Obama supports a “a dangerous policy of irreversible withdrawal.” “In formulating his Iraq policy, Senator Obama seems to value ideological consistency above military victory,” Mr. Hegseth added. Iraq Veteran takes on Bush in new Ad

* What the hell is it worth? While McCain continues to lie about Obama wanting to lose the war and lie about everything Obama says he goes on CNN and agrees with Obama! John McCain said Friday he thinks Barack Obama’s proposed timetable for withdrawal in Iraq is on the right track, even though the Arizona senator spent the last week hammering Obama for his military plans. Obama calls for a 16-month troop withdrawal timetable, something McCain called “politically expedient” during a forum in Denver, Colo., Friday.

But then in an interview with CNN, McCain had kind words. “I think it’s a pretty good timetable, as we should — or horizons for withdrawal,” he added, echoing a phrase President Bush used in recent days. “But they have to be based on conditions on the ground.” McCain has long maintained that conditions on the ground are a key consideration in any withdrawal of American troops. And he has argued that Obama would withdraw troops based on his timetable without regard to conditions in Iraq, although Obama says he would listen to U.S. military commanders about those conditions. Obama, who is wrapping up his week long tour of the Middle East and Europe, said in London that “we are pleased to see that there has been some convergence around proposals that we’ve been making for a year-and-a-half.” McCain praises Obama for Iraq timetable

What the hell? You know how I feel that we are living a lie and lying is the new truth and this is all about to come to a head in this manufactured financial collapse resulting in Martial law as discussed yesterday and us being totally controlled so I have to ask, what is it all worth? I still can't wake up the right people as to our dire position but will continue to try. I will continue to say, we are not conspiracy theorists just realists who see the real conspiracy of our destruction and that of the world as we know it! As this facade is coming to a head this fall I say again be prepared and stay together we will get through this together!

March's secret meeting to Declare Martial Law if things keep getting worse as they are!

As you know, I am very concerned this election too will be stolen from us too in any number of a growing myriad of ways. This Government manufactured "perfect" storm is going to get much worse but its affect is coming to a head. This morning I was listening to more bail outs coming up for financial Institutions, the shocking price to heat my house, drive my car, eat, foreclosures up nation wide 121% since this time last year and here in Massachusetts up 330%. I thought I would check into what Polishifter said about the secret meeting many of us heard Congress held last March on declaring Martial Law if things continue to get much worse and sure enough!

A secret meeting of Congress discusses immanent martial law? B A Brooks The United American Freedom Foundation March 13, 2008 On March 13th 2008 there was a secret closed door meeting of The United States House Of Representatives in Washington. In the history of The United States this is only the fourth time a secret meeting was held by the house. Even though Representatives are sworn to secrecy by House Rules XVII, some of the members were so shocked, horrified, furious, and concerned about the future of America by what was revealed to them inside the secret meeting, that they have started to leak this secret information to independent news agencies around the world. The mass media said almost nothing about the secret meeting of the House, mentioning only one of the items being discussed. (The new surveillance techniques that are going to be used by the US Government to watch all American citizens).

* The story was first released in a newspaper out of Brisbane, Australia revealing the contents of the secret US Government meeting and plans for America including all of it’s citizens. Shortly there after, David J Meyer from Last Trumpet Ministries found it and made it more available for the world to see... Here is what was revealed: The imminent collapse of the US Economy to occur sometime in late 2008 The imminent collapse of the US Government finances sometime in mid 2009 The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse The advance round-ups of “insurgent US Citizens” likely to move against the government The detention of those rounded up at The REX 84 Camps constructed throughout the United States The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest The necessary and unavoidable merger of The US with Canada and Mexico establishing The North American Union The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution. Except for a few hundred thousand US Patriots, most Americans have no clue what has really been going on within The United States over the past 100 years, and the sad thing is that most do not want to know the truth.

The further you look into the rabbit hole, the deeper it gets. Go to any currency conversion site and convert US dollars to Euros so you can see for yourself the massive decline of the dollar. Look at how much money is and has been spent on the Iraq War to date, ($12 billion per month)... Look at our currency and when it stopped being backed by gold... The Federal Reserve is not federal but a private bank who does not have Americans best interests at heart. We no longer have any manufacturing really based out of America and there is no way that our economy can survive this incredible strain very much longer... The IRS strong arms every American yearly with income taxes, yet there are no laws saying an income tax is to be paid... The CIA is involved in everything from global drug trafficking and covert military missions, to assassinations around the world and including US Soil. Look at JFK for instance. It did not take long after JFK announced that he was going disband the CIA that he was shot in Texas... America’s new Stasi The Department Of Homeland Security is and has been slowly eradicating our rights for a few years now based organization called House Bill H.R. 1955/S-1959 was read by the senate and then sent to DHS for some reason, but is now back and sure to pass. Once passed, this bill introduced by Jane Harman (D/CA), will be the proverbial last nail hammered into every American patriots coffin. H.R. 4279 or the Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008 which was recently passed by the US House of Representatives, will give the government draconian powers to do just this...

This legislation gives the government the power to seize property that facilitates the violation of intellectual property laws The legislation also mandates the formation of a formal Intellectual Property Enforcement Division within the office of the Deputy Attorney General to enforce this insanity... It has been revealed that F.E.M.A. has been building internment camps all over America granting Halliburton a massive $385 million dollar construction contract to make this happen. Most of these sites only need refurbished because they are mostly closed prisons, old WW2 internment camps still intact and other facilities taken over by the government. Some people have referred to them as FEMA Death Camps where the infamous Red list/Blue Lists will be used to decide who goes where...

Whether you believe that The NWO/Illuminati/Globalization is real or not, there is a lot of proof that exposes definite plans or plots by the rich, political and religious elite to bring on an era of the end times. It is almost like some individuals are trying to make bible prophecy come true in their own sick and twisted ways. Not to mention that the world only has about 10 to 15 years of drinking water left before the wars fought for oil today will be fought for water in the near future. It has been said that these powers want to depopulate the planet of over 30% of it’s human inhabitants in the coming years... Examine all of the executive orders that have been signed into place allowing the president to basically become dictator in control of all government from tribal to federal in the event of any national emergency... If you did not know, In late 2006, Congress revised the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act to make it far easier for a president to declare martial law. Those changes were repealed at the end of this January as part of Public Law 110-181 (HR 4986), the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (signed into law by President Bush on January 28, 2008)... Unfortunately it is not the great victory in which one might think because of the total militarization of all local and State police forces all across America... Will there be martial law? Is martial law coming soon to America? When you see law enforcement being armed with automatic weapons, bullet proof vests and riot gear in small towns that have not had a murder or crime in years, then you have to ask yourself why... please read you need to know the rest

** Mind blowing! We have not been wrong once yet but are always laughed at and dismissed as conspiracy theorists so the real conspiracy the destruction of America can be carried out. The perfect manufactured storm to achieve that end is coming to a head. Stay united and be prepared please!

With Bush's war mongering bearing fruit in Russia they now want nuclear Bombers in Cuba and Bush wants Unilateral war power used on us and the World!

Russia considers Nuclear Bombers in Cuba compliments of Bush's phony MDS system to instigate war with Russia!

Russia considers using Cuba to refuel nuclear Bombers to counter Bush

Dear ACLU Supporter,
Here they go again. On Monday, Bush’s Attorney General, Michael Mukasey, called on Congress to take dramatic steps to subvert the Constitution.
Mukasey is demanding that Congress issue a new declaration of war that would make the entire globe -- including the United States itself -- a “battlefield” where the president decides who will be locked up forever.
Instead of ending the Bush system of injustice, he wants Congress to make it permanent.
Tell Congress to reject the Bush/Mukasey plan to subvert the Constitution.
Not only has Bush’s Attorney General called on Congress to issue a new declaration of war, but he is also asking Congress to:
1. Gut habeas corpus -- the freedom that protects people from being thrown in prison illegally -- with no help, no end in sight and no due process.
2. Cover up the Bush administration’s systemic torture and abuse of detainees. Judges would not be allowed to see evidence of torture and abuse and would instead simply have to trust that a president is holding the right people as ”enemy combatants.”
With only five weeks left in the congressional schedule and only six months left in the Bush presidency, Mukasey’s power grab should be laughed out of town. But, given this Congress’ track record, the Mukasey proposal is no laughing matter.
Tell Congress to reject the Bush/Mukasey plan to subvert the Constitution.
Too many times, we’ve seen Congress cave in to the most outrageous Bush demands for out-of-control powers: The Patriot Act. National Security Letters. The Military Commissions Act. The Protect America Act. And, most recently, the congressional sell-out on FISA.
Four times the Supreme Court has rejected the Bush administration’s efforts to design a war on terror system of injustice that defies the Constitution and mocks the rule of law. In the past, the administration has responded, not by respecting the Constitution, but by counting on Congress to legitimize its indefensible conduct.
There is no way we can let that happen this time. Even as the House Judiciary Committee investigates whether high-level Bush White House officials may have committed crimes of torture and abuse, the Bush administration has the arrogance to ask Congress to give it the power to detain people without trial and hide torture and abuse from the courts.
Tell Congress to reject the Bush/Mukasey plan to subvert the Constitution.
We can’t take for granted that Congress will reject the Bush/Mukasey plan. We have to meet this outrageous proposal with an immediate wall of protest that says to Congress: “Don’t you dare.”

* I had an extensive format set to go this morning outlining Bush's 2 terms of absolute lies and war mongering but had to digress once again as this is too important. Pleas contact Congress we can not allow Bush unilateral war powers as he will instantly use and abuse it like everything else in his hands! Please get involved! This can't happen!

Obama is right Iraq is now a Diplomatic Solution! So is the entire worlds problems but the right wants war not Diplomacy!

First Monty Python Always look at the Bright side of Life!

Now! It gets more overwhelming every day as this facade of a Democracy proceeds with the campaigns and as citizen's of America, the middle east, and the world are increasingly enamored with Obama as well they should be, McCain now blaming him for the price of Gas gets increasingly ignorant and Bombastic! The Russian area bush has been instigating to war gets closer to fruition every day. Chavez is in Russia buying more advanced weaponry and establishing closer ties as the world unites to take on Bush and his war mongering my way or the highway establishment regardless of who is President.

I have 25 links to stories that are happening all at the same time and none of them good so instead of the usual look at the whole picture I decided to focus on Obama and his success in the middle east! The White House is not happy the middle east, Iraq, Israel, the entire world is embracing Obama as they better if we are to have a future period! McCain is a underhanded combative idiot more so every day as Obama's ideas are increasingly embraced. The Republicans want a Forever War in order to emplace them on the top of their new world order one economy one world Government. Obama is right, he wants peace not more war, the world is embracing him and the right is peeved!

Obama Iraq now needs a political solution, Amen! He will also work out the problems in the middle east Bush created. They know it and Bush is peeved. Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama stepped into the thicket of Mideast politics Tuesday, declaring in Jordan that neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians are strong enough internally to make the bold concessions necessary for peace. Obama said he would work to bring the two sides together "starting from the minute I'm sworn into office." But he cautioned it is "unrealistic to expect that a U.S. president alone can suddenly snap his fingers and bring about peace in this region."

After meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah II, Obama flew to Israel for talks with Israeli leaders. He'll also meet later with Palestinians. Upon his arrival in Jerusalem, he spoke of a "historic and special relationship between the United States and Israel, one that cannot be broken" and one that he hoped to strengthen as president. In Jordan, he made his comments on the struggle for Mideast peace within a few hours of stepping off a military aircraft — a presidential contender carrying body armor and wearing orange earplugs — following his tour of war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq with two fellow senators.Obama vows to work for middle east breakthrough

* For once we seem to stand a chance of a successful future. it is a President Obama! A President who wants unity and peace from the get go not a facade at the end of his Presidency to create a phony legacy to cover his horrific damage to the US, the middle east, and the entire world. The right is peeved and I can not stop believing they will not allow a President Obama or an end to their power and Hidden Agenda! They will do something and I am very concerned with their dirty crap and wonder what the hell they are going to do to keep Obama and peace and unity from happening?

The U.S. and Israel on Iran By Jerome Grossman and my sober reply! please give us your input!

The U.S. and Israel on Iran By Jerome Grossman and my sober reply: Obama putting a crimp in Bush's Iran plans but it will not change the end result, more War! Please click on his Blog and let him know how "we the people feel!

The United States of America and the State of Israel are the closest of allies, sharing intelligence, weapons, military research, among many other joint ventures. They support each other's policies at the United Nations and other international venues with only rare exceptions. Policy on Iran may be one of those rare exceptions. Responsible Israeli officials have made their positions clear: Iran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons and Iranian protestations that their development of nuclear power is only for civilian electricity is not to be believed. Furthermore, that Iranian President Ahmedinejad's threat "to wipe Israel off the map" represents Iranian policy.

Some Israeli leaders want to launch a preemptive attack. Israeli official Shaul Mofaz said recently, "If Iran continues its program to develop nuclear weapons, we will attack it." In a New York Times op-ed, July 18, 2008, Benny Morris, an influential moderate and former Israeli official warned, "Israel will almost surely attack Iran's nuclear sites in the next four to seven months." Recently, the Israeli Air Force conducted a massive war game over the Mediterranean that was interpreted as a demonstration of Israeli ability to mount a serious and effective attack on Iranian installations.

However, US policy now seems to be headed in another direction. In the past, American policy placed Iran in the Axis of Evil, condemned it as a terrorist regime, passed a resolution in the U.S. Senate demanding regime change, appropriated money for Iranian dissidents, and refused to establish any diplomatic contact with the Iranian government. Now, US Defense Secretary Robert Gates says, “We are not planning for a war with Iran,” Admiral Mike Mullin Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff supports him. Accusations of Iranian interference in Iraq have diminished. Most importantly, the Bush administration is planning to establish an American diplomatic presence in Iran for the first time since Iranian extremists seized American hostages and occupied the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979.

Is the US sending a message to Israel not to attack Iran? Is the US sending a message to Middle East nations disassociating itself from an Israeli attack? Has US intelligence decided that the Israelis are serious in their threats?

The effects of an Israeli - Iran war would be world wide. The Muslim world would explode and attack western interests everywhere they could. Rulers of Muslim nations friendly to the west and clients of the US might be overthrown. The price of oil would probably reach $400 per barrel assuming that any oil at all would be shipped to the west. Worldwide energy shortages and commercial disruption would likely cause a financial collapse. The stakes could not be higher, considering that Barack Obama told the US Israeli lobby AIPAC on June 4, "My goal will be to eliminate the threat (to Israel) posed by Iran. I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. (Pause) Everything. The pause is scary.

My True but Sober Response: Obama putting a crimp in Bush's Iran plans as well as Iraq and Afghanistan but it will not change the end result, more War!

With time running out for Bush his only concern is his legacy! The chief war mongering oil man wants to appear like he wants peace while it is war he has instigated! You know the plan to go after Iran is old. You know 9/11 and the Patriot Act were only to of the set ups to get oil control and war going.

Like everything else today this gets very confusing and convoluted on purpose to hide a hidden agenda. now that Obama is in the mix and the world is behind him getting elected as well they should be if we are to have a future Bush has been changing his tune on Afghanistan and Iraq as well as Iran where a Diplomatic interest was expressed.

That is merely a facade! Nothing is going to be won by us as we conventionally think of as winning and nothing is going to stop the total middle east breakdown before it erupts into total war again under a facade of peace voraciously instigated by the Bush mis-Administration!

I do not know who fears who anymore and it no longer matters! You know I have said many times there will be war with Iran. There has to be to get this going full swing watch! I no longer believe the thought of President Obama is the time constraint of the attack.

If it does not look like the Right can steal this election cleanly too Israel may go after Iran first just so the chief war monger will be at the helm. That will be determined soon.

Food, gas and oil, will be rationed but as you know I have said before, knowing a nuclear Iran would to common sensed eyes mean a power balance in the middle east you have to come to the conclusion that is not wanted.

Israel will never accept a nuclear Iran and will attack. Whoever is President will come to their rescue! Once again war will occur to prevent war. That makes sense yeah!

Again as I keep saying, at one time the threat of mutual destruction use to be a deterrence. Today it seems to be the goal.

Originally a buffer for Israel was their goal and it played well with Bush's hidden agenda and if any message is being sent to Israel it is not going to matter or change our response.

* Despite heroic efforts of the likes of you Jerry what is still just unfolding will be prevented by no one. We are in serious trouble here and I better shut up now. Take care! please let me and Jerome know what you think!

Senator Obama The World's President! Iraq and the World want President Obama why is that Bad?

Barack Obaqma one world one dream! President of the World?

Sen. Barack Obama -- who has made ending the Iraq war a cornerstone of his run for the presidency -- huddled on Monday with Iraqi officials and U.S.-led coalition military commanders about the conflict, now in its sixth year. It is the second trip to Iraq for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee and the latest leg of an overseas trip that began in Kuwait and Afghanistan and will go on to Jordan, Israel, the West Bank, Germany, France and Britain. Obama met with Lt. Gen. Lloyd Austin, commander of Multi-National Corps-Iraq; British Maj. Gen. Barney White Spunner, commander of Multi-National Division South East; and Maj. General Abdul Aziz, the Iraqi army's 14th Division commander.

Obama then traveled to Baghdad, where he met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Tariq al-Hashimi, a Sunni Arab who is of Iraq's two vice presidents. The senator was to hold talks later with Gen. David Petraeus, the head of U.S. troops in Iraq, and Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq. An official with al-Maliki's office described the meeting as "very good and successful for both sides." Obama expressed his support for the Iraqi government and noted that the passage of important legislation -- such as laws addressing the production and distribution of oil revenue -- would help strengthen the country, the official said. Obama in Iraq

Whatever his motivations, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki did Obama a huge favor with the magazine interview where he seemed to back Obama’s plans for Iraq -- offering him a better welcome than if he had been greeted with flowers as a liberator. One little interview changed the storyline for this portion of the trip -- and boosted Obama’s credibility on the subject at hand. Now, it’s McCain on the defensive -- needing to explain why he differs from Obama, Maliki -- and maybe even the Bush administration, backers of a “time horizon” (no frames, there) for troop withdrawal.

“In Iraq, controversy continued to reverberate between the United States and Iraqi governments over a weekend news report that Mr. Maliki had expressed support for Mr. Obama’s proposal to withdraw American combat troops within 16 months of January,” Sabrina Tavernise and Jeff Zeleny write in The New York Times. Al Maliki boosts Obama

Confusion over Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's seeming endorsement of Barack Obama's troop withdrawal plan is part of Iraq's strategy to play U.S. politics for the best deal possible over America's military mission. Iraqis intended to do: exploit Obama's position on the war to force the Bush administration into accepting concessions. Already, the Iraqi strategy has succeeded in persuading the White House to agree to a "general time horizon" for removing U.S. troops -- long a goal of the Shi'ite-dominated Iraqi government.

According to Iraqi officials, the decision to play U.S. politics emerged last month after Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari's trip to Washington for meetings with Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Obama and Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. The visit took place as the United States and Iraq were negotiating rules that would govern the U.S. military presence in Iraq once the United Nations mandate expires at the end of the year. The talks had bogged down over U.S. demands for rights to bases, control of Iraqi airspace and immunity from prosecution under Iraqi law for U.S. soldiers and private contractors.

In the past, the Iraqis would have bowed to U.S. pressure. This time, they saw an option in Obama, a longtime war critic. They could press for a short-term agreement with the administration and take their chances with a new president -- Obama or McCain. Also, the Iraqis could flirt with Obama's withdrawal timetable, increasing pressure on Bush to cut a deal more favorable to them. Emboldened Iraqi Leaders undermine Bush and McCain

Then we find As Obama embarks on his first foreign tour as the Democratic presidential nominee, the world is inclined to agree. If Britain and Europe could vote, he would win the White House in a landslide. A poll in The Guardian last week showed that Obama would trounce John McCain, his Republican rival, in Britain by a margin of five votes to one. France and Germany are even more ardent members of Obamaland. Obama has been called the “black Kennedy” by a Berlin newspaper. Der Spiegel has run a cover feature on “The Messiah factor . . . and the yearning for a new America”. Le Monde has proclaimed, “Obamamania has spread to France”. Timothy Garton Ash, professor of European studies at Oxford, has compared the phenomenon with Dianamania. Europe wants President Obama

* I can understand why Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Europe, the entire world, wants a President Obama. He means hope for the future of the world. He is not a war monger. He will listen to the rest of the world and take them into account not ignore it because he is the sole Decider as you can bet McCain wouls do. I heard commentary that Obama must be careful not to appear to be Europes President. Why? I thought the US President is supposed to represent the Free World? The world wants a president Obama and that is being used agaainst him by the Republicans. I don't get it? That in itself should get Obama elected!

Your oil or your Life! You know my standard storyline is we were set up and are living a lie called 9/11! Further proof supplied by Brother Tim!

This is Stunning! In the name of Freedom?! Blood for oil!

I am so sick of living a lie! Yesterday in response to my story on Afghanistan Brother Tim from Blog of Revelationsent me some very interesting back up to my much repeated assertions that from beginning to end with Bush, 9/11, and this supposed war on terrorism we are living a lie. What really bothers me is we are powerless to get the truth out there and put an end to this lie that is costing American, Iraqi, and Afghani lives amongst others in this Blood for oil Scheme! Anyway compliments of Brother Tim check this out:

Part Two of a two-part series During the final months of the Clinton administration, the Taliban was officially a rogue regime. After nearly a decade of fierce competition between the US-supported Unocal-CentGas consortium and Bridas of Argentina, neither company had secured a deal for a trans-Afghanistan pipeline. Immediately upon seizing the White House, George W. Bush resumed relations with the Taliban. Bush stocked his cabinet with figures from the energy industry with long-time ties to Central Asia (including Dick Cheney of Halliburton, Richard Armitage of Unocal, Condoleeza Rice of Chevron), and rode into office on the largesse of corporations with vested interests in the region (Enron). Suddenly, the prospects for a trans-Afghanistan oil and gas pipeline that would help ensure American dominance of Eurasia, described by Zbigniew Brezezinski as "The Grand Chessboard," began to improve. The Bush family's involvement in the Middle East and Central Asian oil politics, and its deep ties to the Saudi royal and bin Laden families, span generations. Throughout his oil-soaked tenure as governor of Texas, George W. Bush colluded on a daily basis with oil and power companies, including Enron. In light of his close personal relationship with Enron CEO Ken Lay, it is reasonable to assume that Bush was aware of the company's Central Asian aspirations. Among Enron's many projects in the region was the Unocal pipeline, for which Enron did feasibility studies. (One recently unearthed letter between Lay and Bush on Central Asian projects can be found at: The smoking Gun

* In their book "Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth," intelligence authorities Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie believe that Bush's primary goal was to consolidate the position of the Taliban in order to secure US access to the oil and gas reserves in Central Asia. According to Brisard and Dasquie, Bush viewed the Taliban as " a source of stability in Central Asia that would enable the construction of an oil pipeline across Central Asia," from the rich oil fields in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, through Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the Indian Ocean." According to Brisard and Dasquie, and an investigation by journalist Greg Palast, Bush also blocked secret service and FBI investigations on terrorism, while bargaining with the Taliban for the delivery of Osama bin Laden in exchange for political recognition and economic aid. Bush administration and Taliban officials met several times in Washington, Berlin and Islamabad. Each time, the Taliban refused Bush's conditions.

The last meeting took place in August 2001. Central Asian affairs representative Christina Rocca and a coterie of State Department officials voiced disgust and issued a threat to the Taliban ambassador: "Accept our offer of a carpet of gold, or we bury you under a carpet of bombs." Bush promptly informed Pakistan and India that the US would launch a military mission against Afghanistan before the end of October. Weeks later, under questionable circumstances, jetliners would crash into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania, killing some 2,000 Americans. The ensuing war on Afghanistan, and the "war on terrorism," would claim the lives of more than 5,000 Afghans, scatter (but not destroy) the Taliban and send Osama bin Laden and his Al-Queda network into hiding. Bush's brutal "carpet of bombs" had done what years of Clinton administration jockeying had failed to do: topple a recalcitrant, uncooperative regime with nationalistic tendencies, and clear the key square of the Chessboard. A Well-Timed Economic Collapse. What a friggen llie we are living. Please read part one and the remainder of Government fraud by Larry Chin

Then a reminder as Obama is in Afghanistan pledging it is the front of "the war on terror" We Do Not Have CleanHands In Afghanistan By Karl W B Schwarz:
A scant percentage of Americans know that ten days before President Kennedy was assassinated, he made a speech at Columbia University, during which he made the following statement: "The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizen of this plight."

Afghanistan-and why our President ordered our military to invade it-is just such a instance of bogus policy based on outright lies. I have been following this matter since 1999, well before the attacks of 9-11, due to someone I met in 1999. That person gave me information regarding a lawsuit in Texas and I followed it because I have been concerned for many years about the energy policies and foreign policies of this Republic. What you are about to read below is not my word against George W. Bush; it is a matter of public record in our U.S. Courts.
The military training for the invasion of Afghanistan started less then sixty (60) days after Bush was sworn into office, and waiting only for 9-11 to happen to justify the invasion. I also suspect that the drafting of the Patriot Act and the formation of Homeland Security started at about the same time. If I were in a position to appoint the Real 9-11 Commission, it would start with four energy companies that have electrical plants in Pakistan, all attendees of the Cheney Energy Task Force and the list of Foreign and American names found by Sibel D. Edmonds.

In short, I would see to it that the investigation started off with those that stood to benefit the most by attacking Afghanistan and taking over that pipeline and the list of names found by Sibel Edmonds to determine if they were the real perpetrators of 9-11 to put such policies into action. Our government has in the past, and is right now, suppressing the truth across the board regarding a wide range of matters that affect the lives of all of us. That stops when we as American citizens put a stop to it. One of the missions of American Patriot Movement will be to remove the U.S. troops from Iraq and Afghanistan and conduct a full investigation of 9-11 with a panel of ten qualified, disinterested experts. please read the rest by Karl schwarz

* It will always blow me away that we are powerless to get the truth out and believed whan the documented facts are so plentiful and undeniable. Certainly since 9/11 we have been living a total lie and are purposely being led down the tubes in this manufactured financiaql collapse of America in this new order Blood for oil Charade!

Today's Fact: Bush's unity in Iraq will happen against us! They will get rid of us then turn on each other! Wow!

* This deserves thought in light of recent developments and believe it or not this was my thought 2 1/2 years ago! Watching what is going on today in regard to Iraq I remembered discussing it two and a half years ago so I looked for the story, I found it and was stunned to find that the entire story applied to exactly what is happening today in Iraq, the middle east, and here at home. So much so that I decided to republish the story from January 2006. Think about it, the more things change the more they remain the same
Bush continues to insist our economy is going great guns. as we all know, average Americans do not benefit in this. However with that said it has to be because of the materials required for bush's created Iraq war. with the costs reaching as high as 2 trillion dollars according to Nobel award winning economist Joseph stillgitz we need all the money we can get. That monstrous expense in itself is a victory for the insurgents in Iraq. He keeps urging Iraqi unity. He unwittingly has given them the motivation for them to unify and against us. Bush says the Iraqi's have shown a willingness to come together for the sake of national unity.

It looks like they will be able to temporarily set aside their differences in order to concentrate on us and our removal from their soil. With Bush insisting on staying the course and refusing to exercise any sense at all he still refuses to learn anything at all from Vietnam. He still insists on overstaying our misperceived welcome. He is purposefully making us the targets. A Sunni politician has recently declared the U.S. as the enemy. With murders increasing of both Sunni's and shiite's now at more than 500 since Bush's so called successful election they are killing each other as we knew they would. After a U.S attack on a crowded Shiite Mosque killing 60 we gave the Sunni's the perfect opportunity to declare unity with the Shiite in declaring that we must get out of Iraq.
With Iraq continuing to degrade it is fundamentally in worse shape despite all our money, effort, and American lives, than during the Saddam days. Bush continues to insist on doing the wrong thing and strengthen their unity. He is succeeding and it will be turned against us. With Iran's meddling in the election and their insistence on enrich uranium and having nuclear capabilities things are about to open up in the Middle East as we knew they would. a great success for Bush and his straightening out of the Middle East. Just what were his real intentions anyway?

* My thought at that point in time was that if the sects in Iraq were smart they would at least make believe they were unifying, coming together, and stabilizing. Then once they got us out of there they could refocus on each other. Knowing Iraq still appears incapable of satisfying basic human needs to its citizens and there are 2.5 million permanent refugees all because of Bush as well as peace Israeli style with walls being used to separate cities and keep the peace it dawned on me to rethink!

We are now openly advocating pulling troops out quicker to redeploy them in Afghanistan where they should be but with 2 or 3 battalions redeployed to Afghanistan what the hell would be the repercussions if McCain was elected? If Obama was elected? and Iraq showed its true colors and erupted as I keep saying it will? This entire mess is only going to now get much more tenuous and hairier! Also I see with us redeploying in Afghanistan not success as I should but a set up for future failure of Iraq and Afghanistan, as was set in motion on day one when the chief idiot used his abusive powers to divert from Afghanistan to attack Iraq to go after Iran and destabilize the entire middle east in setting up this Forever War. I now see a return to the draft as inevitable amongst other nightmares for our future!

10 Year Energy Plans from Gore,T Boone Pickens, and Richard Branson: I am glad someone is stepping up but have to wonder where will we be in 10 Years?

In a nutshell while our Political idiots continue to nothing as they all accuse the other side of failure while once again refusing to come together and do the right thing for the Nation and the world. I am glad to see such influential people step up and try to resolve ours and the worlds energy needs while we still stand a chance at a future. Three influential people have now stepped forward with money and plans that at least give us a little hoper something we all drastically need today. Richard Branson was first almost 2 years ago when amongst other things he we heard this! Commenting on an announcement by Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group of a 10-year, three billion dollar commitment to renewable energy initiatives, Friends of the Earth's head of campaigns, Mike Childs, said:

"As one of the top business leaders it's welcome that Richard Branson has recognized the urgent need to tackle climate change. Whilst his investment in bio-fuels is welcome, this can only be a small part of the solution, and must not distract from the need to cut emissions. Biofuels can provide a greener alternative to oil based fuels, but this is only true if they are produced sustainably and don't interfere with food production and biodiversity protection. Richard's Branson's train business will be an important part of the future, encouraging people to take the train instead of flying, but the fast growth in air flights can not be maintained without causing climatic disaster. Just one of Branson's proposals

Finally someone from our Nation that can help has also stepped forward with a doable 10 year plan! Al Gore Al Gore is challenging the United States to produce all of its electricity through wind power, solar power and other environmentally friendly sources within 10 years. Gore said the transition would not only help resolve America's current energy and economic problems, but would also improve U.S. national security by reducing dependence on foreign oil. VOA Correspondent Cindy Saine reports from Washington. Al Gore received a rock star welcome at an energy conference in Washington, where he issued a challenge to the country.

"So today I challenge our nation to commit to producing 100 percent of our electricity from renewable energy and truly clean, carbon-free sources within 10 years," he said. Called an alarmist by some critics, Gore has made global climate change his signature issue, and his efforts won him a Nobel Prize. He admitted that weaning Americans off fossil fuels would require placing a carbon tax on burning oil and coal, which his plan would offset with a reduction in payroll taxes. But Gore said soaring gasoline prices and the current economic turmoil have created a new political environment where Americans are hungry for change. "I do not remember a time in our country when so many things seem to be going so wrong simultaneously," he said. "Our economy is in terrible shape and getting worse, people are hurting. Gasoline prices are increasing dramatically and so are electricity rates. Jobs are being outsourced, home mortgages are in trouble. Banks, automobile companies, other institutions we depend upon are under growing pressure."

Gore called on all Americans to pull together, citing the kind of national effort that made it possible for Neil Armstrong to walk on the moon just eight years after former President John F. Kennedy issued that challenge. He said both presidential candidates, his fellow Democrat Barack Obama and the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain are way ahead of most politicians in the fight against global climate change. But Gore did criticize President Bush's proposal to resume offshore oil drilling as a way to address the current energy crisis. "It is only a truly dysfunctional system that would buy into the perverse logic that the short-term answer to high gasoline prices is drilling for oil 10 years from now in areas that should be protected," he said. Amen Al Gore

In response to this T Boone Pickens responded to Al Gore's Generational Challenge to Repower America speech, saying he and the former vice president "have two different objectives and our plans should be viewed with that in mind." Last week, the billionaire discussed the Pickens plan he hopes will reduce foreign oil imports by more than 30% in the next 5 to 10 years. In a release issued through BP Capital, Pickens said Gore "put forward a framework of a plan that is focused on global warming and climate issues. My plan is aimed squarely at breaking the stranglehold that foreign oil has on our country and the $700 billion annual impact it has on our economy. ... Vice President Gore's plan does not address this enormous problem.

In a speech on Thursday at a Washington energy conference, Gore called for the U.S. to produce all of its electricity from renewable energy and carbon-free sources within 10 years. Last week, Pickens unveiled a plan that involves using wind to supplant natural gas, which could then be used towards transportation. "It's time for us to take responsibility for the problem we've created and act now," Pickens said. "The Federal Government should provide the leadership to clear the way for action and private enterprise should build the infrastructure to get it done. Only in that way can we recapture our energy destiny. Pickens Says He And Gore Have Different Objectives

* We all know how one sided my way or nothing Partisan bickering resulting in absolutely nothing getting done is destroyin us and the world. It is a breath of fresh air to see 3 distinguished fellows step forward with money and positive ideas. That they differ is a plus as we see from Politics there is no one idea but a melding of many will get us out of this. I am afraid we still have to hope our Governments will realize this and cooperate with "we the people" If we are to be saved it will come from us!

Bush is admitting he was wrong on Iran, wrong on staying the course in Iraq, and wrong on Afghanistan. Changing to Obama's desires! Why you ask?

Watch any of or all 9 short videos on Obama and McLame's plan for Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan, and backstabbing by McCaine

Then I would be remiss if I let go the fact that the chief scum has claimed executive privilege once again this time to protect is and Cheney's lies. That scum is going to get away with lying, treason, and all the underhanded things he has done and he has not earned the right to claim executive privilege. I am sickened he can even call himself President. He is not my President and has done nothing right for America or the world let alone Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I am sick of this scum thinking he deserves anything

Anyway Bush is admitting he was wrong on Iran as The United States in the next month will announce plans to establish a diplomatic presence in Tehran for the first time in 30 years, a British newspaper said on Thursday. "The Guardian has learned that an announcement will be made in the next month to establish a U.S. interests section in Tehran, a halfway house to setting up a full embassy," the paper's Washington correspondent, Ewan MacAskill, said in its front-page, unsourced report. "The move will see U.S. diplomats stationed in the country." But senior U.S. diplomat Undersecretary of State William Burns said in testimony to Congress last week the United States has not cemented its decision. The Guardian said the development was "a remarkable turnaround in policy by President George Bush, who has pursued a hawkish approach to Iran throughout his time in office." In a break with past policy, the Bush administration is sending Burns to observe talks in Switzerland with Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili. U.S. to Establish First Diplomatic Presence in Iran Since 1979

Seems to me that this is an effort to minimize efforts by Obama and to make it "appear" like Bush is trying Diplomacy while paving the way for his would be predecessor McDink! plus after Obama's marvelous speech on defense and moving forward in Iraq and Afghanistan Bush appears to be trying to minimize Obama and do his bidding while once again paving the way for McCain. Pentagon leaders on Wednesday signaled a surge in U.S. forces in Afghanistan "sooner rather than later" — a shift that could come later this year as they prepare to cut troop levels in Iraq. Faced with an increasingly sophisticated insurgency, particularly along Afghanistan's border with Pakistan, defense officials said sending more troops would have a significant impact on the violence.

"I think that we are clearly working very hard to see if there are opportunities to send additional forces sooner rather than later," Defense Secretary Robert Gates told Pentagon reporters. But, he added that no final decisions or recommendations have been made. His comments suggested an acceleration in what had been plans to shift forces there early next year. And they came as the political discourse on Afghanistan as a key military priority escalated on both Capitol Hill and the presidential campaign trail. Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who recently returned from meetings with commanders in Afghanistan, said they clearly want more troops now.

"It's a tougher fight, it's a more complex fight, and they need more troops to have the long-term impact that we all want to have there," said Mullen, who also met last week with Pakistani leaders. The Pentagon has been wrestling with how to provide what they say is a much needed military buildup in Afghanistan, while they still have 150,000 troops in Iraq. Gates and Mullen have repeatedly said they would have to reduce troop levels in Iraq before they could dedicate more forces to Afghanistan. Mullen, who was in Iraq last week, told reporters that he is likely to recommend further troop reductions there this fall. He said he found that conditions in Iraq had improved more than he expected. less troops in Iraq more in Afghanistan sound familiar

* Bush has done exactly nothing right during his entire mis Presidency! He is making at least an appearance of doing the right thing as Afghanistan is increasingly failing as he guaranteed it would by attacking Iraq to ultimately go after Iran and get this entire manufactured mess going full scale. The perfect storm will not be avoided and is coming closer every day.Bush is merely creating another facade of doing the right thing this time to minimize the effectiveness of Obama's campaign. Nothing will change the mess of the entire world especially too little too late!

Malki said terrorism was defeated in Iraq and we could leave? We better listen to Obama and get him elected as defeated terrorists continue to kill!

On 7/6 we discussed that Nouri Al-Maliki declared terrorism defeated in Iraq and declared that it was time for us to establish a withdrawal date from the so called Sovereign Nation. Of course Bush is the Decider and refuses to leave

Today we hear from those defeated terrorists again as we knew we would! At least 35 people were killed outside of an Iraqi army base Tuesday when two suicide bombers detonated their explosive-laden vests, officials said. The Interior Ministry said most of the casualties were army recruits, CNN said. Sixty-three other people were injured when the two, posing as army recruits, detonated devices outside the recruitment center at Saad military base in Baquba, Iraq, about 37 miles north of Baghdad in Diyala Province. The male bombers set off the explosives about 30 seconds apart in a crowd of more than 200 recruits, military officials said.
U.S. military officials said Tuesday they captured an Iranian-trained leader of an explosives cell in Baghdad. Officials said the man was suspected of overseeing "a network of explosives experts" and linked to attacks against Iraqi and coalition military bases. In Germany, three Iraqi men were convicted of plotting to kill a former Iraqi prime minister, CNN reported. The German federal prosecutor's office said the men were convicted of plotting to kill Ayad Allawi, Iraq's interim prime minister in 2004-05, and of being members of a terrorist organization, Ansar al-Islam, a radical Jihadist group. Defeated terrorists killing Iraqi troops on their own bases

Obama is right! It is time to withdraw, listen to Al-Maliki and the American people and withdraw to focus on worsening Afghanistan while we can! Sen. Barack Obama on Tuesday will outline his strategy for dealing with the biggest threats facing the United States, which he says requires bringing the war in Iraq to an end, his campaign said. The speech on national security and the war in Iraq comes one day after he detailed his plan for the war-torn country in a New York Times op-ed. Sources familiar with Obama's plans said the candidate will travel to Iraq later this month with two Senate colleagues, Republican Chuck Hagel and Democrat Jack Reed.
"This war distracts us from every threat that we face and so many opportunities we could seize. This war diminishes our security, our standing in the world, our military, our economy, and the resources that we need to confront the challenges of the 21st century," Obama will say, according to excerpts of his prepared remarks. "By any measure, our single-minded and open-ended focus on Iraq is not a sound strategy for keeping America safe," Obama will say, according to excerpts of his prepared remarks.

In addition to ending the war, his plan for securing the country includes finishing the fight against Qaeda and the Taliban, securing nuclear weapons from rogue nations, reaching energy security and rebuilding our alliances "to meet the challenges of the 21st century," his campaign said. See where the candidates stand on Iraq. "In fact -- as should have been apparent to President Bush and Sen. McCain -- the central front in the war on terror is not Iraq, and it never was. That's why the second goal of my new strategy will be taking the fight to al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan," Obama is expected to say. "Sen. McCain said -- just months ago -- that 'Afghanistan is not in trouble because of our diversion to Iraq.' I could not disagree more," Obama will say. Obama rightly says Iraq is a dangerous distraction

Of course McCain criticized Obama for delivering a speech on Iraq before traveling there. Obama's visit to Iraq, where he has only been once, in 2006, and Afghanistan follows repeated criticism from McCain that he should visit the area and talk to commanders. "Sen. Obama is departing soon on a trip abroad that will include a fact-finding mission to Iraq and Afghanistan," McCain said in written excerpts of comments he will deliver later on Tuesday in New Mexico."And I note that he is speaking today about his plans for Iraq and Afghanistan before he has even left," McCain said. "In my experience, fact-finding missions usually work best the other way around: first you assess the facts on the ground, then you present a new strategy," he added. McCain as usual incorrectly criticizes Obama

I happen to believe Obama is right on! We should withdraw and refocus on Afghanistan while we can and it is right for him to say what he wants to do there before he goes to Iraq to in his own words find out if what he says is doable or needs fine tuning because of events on the ground! It is time the routine childish politics of Republicans is ignored and comes to an end. It serves their selfish interests but is harmful to America, the middle east, and the world, before it is too late. We need to get Obama elected in the fall and take back the entire Government if we are to have a future at all.
